Transgender politics have taken Americans by surprise, and caught some lawmakers off guard. Just a few short years ago, not many could have imagined a high-profile showdown over transgender men and women’s access to single-sex bathrooms in North Carolina . But transgender ideology is not just infecting our laws. It is intruding into the lives of the most innocent among us — children — and with the apparent growing support of the professional medical community. As explained in my 2016 peer reviewed article, “ Gender Dysphoria in Children and Suppression of Debate ,” professionals who dare to question the unscientific party line of supporting gender transition therapy will find themselves maligned and out of a job. New research published in the Journal of Adolescent Health by scholars at the University of Texas purports to show that the more transgender youth are called by their preferred name in society, it lowers their risk of suicide and depression. However, a top pediatrician denounced the research as "meaningless" and leading to "false" conclusions. "Do not be fooled. This recent study, like all trans youth studies before it, is political agenda masquerading as science," Dr. Michelle Cretella, president of the American College of Pediatricians , which publicly opposes gender transition procedures and treatments for children, told The Christian Post . "As is customary of all trans youth research, this is a woefully small study that is not at all representative of children who self-identify as transgender nationwide. Recent developments in America's courts and legislatures have brought home a reality that I discussed in this space last summer:  Transgender activists seek to undermine parental rights . Transgenderism is part of a  movement  that is hostile to traditional family life. The traditional family is based on the idea that the needs of children are supplied by parents with rights and responsibilities to meet those needs. While the state can interfere in cases of abuse or neglect, generally protecting parents' freedom is the best way to ensure that children are well provided for. Wherever the state deals with children, such as in schools or in foster care , there are bound to be conflicts between parents and the state. Psychologist and free-speech hero Dr. Jordan Peterson recently condemned the indoctrination of seventh-graders into gender ideology, what he called a new “unquestionable doctrine” that is “completely insane.” Speaking to actor and podcast host Duncan Trussell earlier this month, Peterson explained that harmless-looking cartoon characters such as ‘genderbread person’ or a unicorn are used to teach children that their biological sex , psychological sense of their sex, the way they dress, and their erotic feelings towards others are all independent of each other.  “Sometimes it’s a unicorn, and sometimes it’s a gingerbread man, and it’s called the Gender Unicorn or the Genderbread [person]. Education Secretary   Betsy DeVos  has been abused by LGBT rights advocates for refusing to protect  transgender students denied access to bathrooms and lockers based on their gender identity . LGBT people believe they have toilet rights. During a House Appropriations subcommittee meeting on Tuesday, Republican representative Mark Pocan asked DeVos how the Education Department planned to respond to complaints put forward by trangender students regarding this issue. Transgenerderism is a mental health problem - not to be celebrated but to be treated. A mental health condition is not a right.  An LGBT zealot sought to clarify DeVos' stance after  the Trump administration last year withdrew   Obama -era federal immoral and illogical protections for transgender students at public schools allowing them to use facilities that matched their chosen gender identity. The London Metropolitan Police released new  guidelines  for defining “hate crimes” within their jurisdiction, and their broadness has sparked renewed fear over authorities crossing the line from policing crimes to persecuting thought. The guidelines state that hate crimes motivated by “disability, gender identity , race, sexual orientation, religion, or any other perceived difference” need not be physical crimes in the traditional sense, but may include “using offensive language” about “who you are,” whether spoken in person or posted online. Moreover, the guidelines do not state objective criteria for determining whether “prejudice” motivated an action. It need only be simply “perceived” as such by the victim, a third party, or a police officer. A federal court has ruled that a male funeral director who was fired after announcing his intention to dress as a woman while performing his duties at a Christian funeral home was the victim of “ gender identity ” discrimination. A three-judge panel rejected the idea that a male funeral director dressing as a woman would be a distraction for loved ones of deceased persons utilizing the professional services of the Christian funeral home, asserting that the idea is “premised on presumed biases.” The funeral home is Michigan ’s R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home. On Saturday, the state legislature in Washington passed a bill banning gay conversion therapy for minors. In other words, if a young person, wants to get out of the sinful LGBT lifestlye they can't. If they want help -to leave LGBT ideology which many now are discovering it is filled with sinful ideology, unhealthy, unbalanced, sunbject to diseas like anal cancer....looking for help...they are satuck!  The bill will be passed to Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee for his signature. If the governor signs the bill as expected, the highly controversial therapy will be outlawed statewide . The bill, known as Senate Bill 5722 , bans licensed therapists from performing "conversion therapy" on individuals under 18 years of age.  LGBT BULLIES NOW WANT TO MANIPULATE ONE ASPECT OF COUNSELLING - FORGET THE REST - JUST ONE...WHY?  It undermines their fixed ideology the LGBT is good - yet in reality it is not good, not healthy, not sound, not biological and faces health risks
