Vancouver man attacks Gospel street preachers

Image
A Vancouver chose to provoke Christians on the street at night because he hated their message. He then attempted to disrupt their presentation, steal or damage their sound equipment, and is now claiming he was assaulted. The Police have already judged the situation as a hate incident by the Christians and have chosen not to charge Justin Morissette aggressive behaviour.  "So why did Justin  Morissette think he had the right to  grab his microphone, and then disrupt and assault the street preachers? Is he the authority of freedom of speech? Why is it ok for homosexuals to protest with microphones with crude nude parades?  When the roll is reversed, it's a double standard here."  Sportscaster Justin   Morissette  says he was tackled and thrown to the ground and his leg was broken following a confrontation in the city’s West End. He demanded they stop. He demanded the volume be reduced. He physically chose to confront people who were protesti...

The Gay fragile False Narrative

Image
Rivka Edelman, a college professor raised by two lesbian mothers, noted in a 2014 English Manif commentary that children of gays are “denied one parent so that men could prove that two men can play at baby-making” and they often require two women to do it.   “Well, that dog doesn’t hunt. I grew up in a gay household and I know the arguments better than I know the pledge of allegiance,” declared Edelman. “So save it. All of it – the missives, the threats. Don’t prove my point to people about loving the gay community. They will turn and tear their own to shreds in a heartbeat. Because the fragile narrative has to be protected at all costs. Family is a photo op. And children are props. ” While this nation's adoption industry has been heavily regulated – and rightfully so – the engineering of children through the purchase of gametes and the rental of wombs remains the wild, wild west.  In some states, anything goes. Any infertile couple working with a reputable ...

Children are ‘status symbol’ for homosexual men

Image
Studies show that children raised by homosexuals have significantly more social and mental-health problems than children raised by a mom and a dad. An Israeli film director has pointed out that children have become a “status symbol” for homosexual men, calling attention to the additional stress on same-sex couples to indulge in the often costly enterprise of obtaining genetically-linked kids through surrogacy, out of reach for most.   “Children have in a way become a status symbol among many gay men,” director Yuval Hadadi, whose most recent film, “15 Years,” examines the breakdown of an affluent gay couple’s relationship after one partner decides to become a father.  “They signify a certain level of time, money, and ambition,” observed Hadadi, resources that have often been available only to wealthy, A-list gays and lesbians.  Studies by sociologist Mark Regnerus have found that children raised by homosexuals have significantly more social and mental-...

Conversion Therapy Bans - target churches

Image
Australia has seen two recent initiatives by local Parliaments aimed at what are often called "conversion therapy" practices. No-one supports coercive electro-shock or other oppressive practices imposed on someone without their consent, to change their sexual preferences or identity. But the problem with the recent legislative proposals is that the laws do not target these practices alone (as to which it is hard to find any evidence of them occurring in Australia in recent years), but seem to reach further and to prevent religious groups sharing the teaching of their faith. The Legislation There are two legislative initiatives here. (a) The Queensland Act Queensland has already enacted its version among other changes to its health laws. The  Health Legislation Amendment Act  2020  (Qld) (No 31 of 2020) received the Royal Assent on 20 August 2020. As no other provision is made for commencement of the relevant provisions in Part 5, it has now commenced ope...

Just Like Jack Phillips, LGBT Cake Artist Declines To Express A Message

Image
A recent article at TODAY.com would have you believe that one LGBT cake artist in Michigan reacted correctly to an order she found objectionable, while Colorado cake artist Jack Phillips reacted incorrectly. The headline declares: “A lesbian baker in Detroit got an anti-gay cake order. She baked it anyway.” But if there’s one thing I know in today’s culture, it’s that you must read past the headlines. You see, if you read the full article, you’ll find that the stories of these two cake artists are more similar than the headline would have you believe. April Anderson, who identifies as a lesbian, co-owns Good Cakes and Bakes, a cake shop in Detroit. In July, she received a request for a custom cake that, according to the customer, would celebrate marriage as the Catholic Church understands it: the lifelong union between one man and one woman. April could not—and did not—create the requested cake because it would have expressed a message that conflicts with her core beliefs. Instead, she...

Allegations of harm: Unsupportive of homosexaulity causes suicide

Image
Throughout the fake gay marriage debate - one technique was constantly used by supporters of homosexual marriage - If you call homosexuality a sin, wrong you will cause harm to teenagers who will then suicide. The purpose of this argument is to shut down any and all opposition to the idea that homosexuality is good for society. People were abused, posters torn-down by those who pushed gay marriage. No debate No questions No arguments and if you do open your mouth you are a bigot.  There are many ways arguments can go wrong . Since the dawn of philosophy, scholars have fashioned lists of fallacies, probed suspect rhetorical devices, and teased out the troubling ways power interweaves with persuasion. These problematic properties can be wrong in a rational sense, making arguments invalid, and less likely to track truth. But they can also be wrong in an ethical sense. Argument can be deceitful, manipulative, coercive. In the twenty-first century, there is a new challenge to argument —...

Court Rules Photographer Has The Right To Choose Which Events To Celebrate

Image
Our country is big enough for a wide variety of beliefs and viewpoints to coexist peacefully.  Thankfully, today a federal district court recognized this when it ruled in favor of Chelsey Nelson, a creative professional in Louisville, Kentucky.  Chelsey is a wedding photographer and blogger. She is also a Christian and tries to live her life in a way that honors God, including through her business. That means Chelsey can only use her artistic talents to participate in and celebrate weddings that are consistent with her religious beliefs—that marriage is the union of one man and one woman. Chelsey respects and serves everyone, but she cannot celebrate every event or promote every message that is asked of her. For Chelsey, it’s all about what she is asked to create, not who asks her to create. But city officials in Louisville have failed to understand that distinction. Louisville officials interpret a local ordinance to force Chelsey to photograph and blog celebratory messages a...

Qld Government Australia - What makes the existence of ex-gays so dangerous?

Image
What is it that makes the very existence of ex-gays so dangerous? And why is there a concerted, effort to block counseling for those with unwanted same-sex attractions? If you help a gay person back to normal life you can go to prison for 12 months! Why is counseling in every other area of life good but counseling sinful homosexuality subject to prison? Before you think I’m exaggerating, consider the following examples. On the social media front, it is now reported that, “Facebook and its photo platform Instagram are banning any content advertising or promoting treatment to overcome unwanted same-sex attraction.” According to Facebook spokeswoman Stephanie Otway, “This is a global policy. The policy is still under development, but for now it will be applied to content that promotes conversion therapy when we become aware of it.” Ex-gay colleagues have already informed me that their content is being removed from Facebook and their pages are being shut down, simply for stating that chan...

After coming under attack, the Hallmark Channel has knuckled under to pressure from LGBT groups and will air its first original movie featuring a same-sex ‘wedding’ this weekend. The movie, “Wedding Every Weekend,” centers on two single friends, Brooke and Nate, who discover they have both been invited to the same four weddings on consecutive weekends.
