Cross-dressing LGBT activist to appear on ‘Sesame Street’

Image
Bert and Ernie may not be a same-sex couple, but the long-running children’s franchise Sesame Street is about to get an infusion of LGBT “vibes” with an upcoming guest appearance by actor and LGBT activist Billy Porter.  REFUSE TO WATCH SUCH BLATANT LGBT INDOCTRINATION Porter, best known as Pray Tell in the FX’s LGBT ballroom drama Pose and for wearing extravagant dresses, will appear during the 51st season of the beloved children’s show, according to Sesame Street’s official Facebook page. “Billy Porter bringing those fierce vibes to Sesame Street,” the post declares, accompanied by photos of Porter on the classic set, wearing a tuxedo gown. Comments on the post were largely positive, though some readers expressed concern. REFUSE TO WATCH SUCH BLATANT LGBT INDOCTRINATION “That is pushing [too] much at little children, it makes no sense, kids have [too] much on their little plates as it is,” one said. “Why add more?” “Sesame Street is for children. And diversity s...

Third UK stadium bars Franklin Graham from preaching to appease LGBT activists

Image
A third United Kingdom venue has canceled an appearance by American missionary Franklin Graham.  Earlier this week, stadiums in the English cities of Sheffield and   Liverpool   bowed to pressure from LGBT activists and their “allies” to bar Graham, the son of the world-famous evangelist Billy Graham, from preaching.   Now Glasgow’s Scottish Event Campus (SEC) Hydro has done the same.  Pauline Gallagher  said  she was “saddened” that the Protestant evangelical had been barred from her city.  “I am saddened beyond words that Billy Graham's son has been banned from speaking in Glasgow,” Gallagher said.  “The dividing line is not between religious and LGBT. It is between reasonable and unreasonable people,” she continued.  “High profile commentators like Douglas Murray and Andrew Doyle in the U.K. and Dave Rubin in the U.S., who are gay, are speaking out for the rights of religious people to express their beliefs.” ...

LGBTQ hate on Franklin Graham - ACC Liverpool face discrimination charges

Image
ACC Liverpool has illegally canceled an event that is part of an upcoming Franklin Graham tour in the U.K., citing “a number of statements which we consider to be incompatible with our values.” Saying they have recently become aware of some of Graham’s opinions, ACC Liverpool posted a statement on January 24, announcing, We can no longer reconcile the balance between freedom of speech and the divisive impact this event is having in our city. We have informed the organisers of the event that the booking will no longer be fulfilled. We are proud to represent all communities and will continue to move forward with our aim as a business to drive profile, major events and economic impact for Liverpool City Region. Resistance to the Franklin Graham Tour in the U.K. Graham was scheduled to speak at ACC Liverpool on June 12 as part of a tour he is doing on behalf of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), of which Graham is the president and CEO. The tour will take place from...

Franklin Graham responds after UK event canceled for 'incompatible' LGBTQ views

Image
Christian Evangelist Franklin Graham penned an open letter to the LGBTQ community in the United Kingdom after an event there was canceled for "incompatible" statements . The son of the late Billy Graham was labeled a "homophobic hate preacher" by the Liverpool Labour LGBT Network, who wrote in a letter that they fear  "Graham's appearance may incite hateful mobilization and risk the security of our LGBTQ+ community.  We are writing for support from our locally elected council representatives in response to the platforming of homophobic hate preacher Franklin Graham at the M&S Arena on the 12th of June 2020.  We fear that with such a high profile event gaining traction, Graham’s appearance may incite hateful mobilisation and risk the security of our LGBTQ+ community.  We ask the council to stand with our community in counter mobilisation, including refusing to host Graham’s roadshow at venues where the local authority has a stake." HOW DOES...

Stadium bars Franklin Graham from preaching to appease LGBT activists, Graham responds

Image
It is said by some,' Graham wrote after his event was canceled, 'that I am coming to the UK to bring hateful speech to your community. This is just not true.' A leading American evangelist has responded to the cancellation of his appearance with a Gospel message. The Rev. Franklin Graham, who was supposed to appear at the ACC Liverpool Stadium on June 12 of this year, issued the following statement on social media yesterday: A letter to the LGBTQ community in the UK — It is said by some that I am coming to the UK to bring hateful speech to your community. This is just not true. I am coming to share the Gospel, which is the Good News that God loves the people of the UK, and that Jesus Christ came to this earth to save us from our sins. The rub, I think, comes in whether God defines homosexuality as sin. The answer is yes. But God goes even further than that, to say that we are all sinners — myself included. The Bible says that every human being is guilty of sin a...

Some gays want out

Image
Australia - Queensland Labor Government wants to pass restrictive laws that stop gay from getting help. The same Laws are already in place in the U.S. and Europe targets ex-gay people. You want to get out - hard luck nobody will help you! Why Because it is illegal.  GAYS WANTS TO ESCAPE - QLD GOVERNMENT SAYS NO In 2018, Utah joined 18 other states in banning the therapy for children, while the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico have also banned the practice. In Europe, currently, the U.K., Malta, and some jurisdictions in Spain have banned the practice for children and adults. A rally was held in October by Pastor James Domen and other former homosexuals, who called on the U.S. Congress not to endorse the so-called “Equality Act” and “Therapeutic Fraud Prevention Act” that would prevent others from seeking to escape LGBT lives. Domen, at the time, “We are being targeted by city, state and the federal governments here in the United States.” GAYS WANTS TO ESCAPE - QLD G...

Judge lets Vimeo kill ex-gay pastor’s account for videos about leaving homosexuality

Image
A federal court dismissed a lawsuit filed by a Christian pastor against video hosting platform Vimeo for violating his freedom of speech when it deleted his account because he hosted videos to help people overcome unwanted same-sex attraction. Pastor James Domen is the founder of Church United, a non-profit religious organization dedicated to changing “the moral culture of our communities in California,” and an advocate for people seeking to overcome unwanted same-sex attraction. He is also the married father of three children. In several videos Domen posted on Vimeo, he discussed A.B. 2943 — a bill being considered in the California legislature, which proposes to ban so-called conversion therapy in the state. Vimeo sent a message to Domen in November 2018 claiming that several of his videos violated company policy.  The video hosting website claimed:  “Vimeo does not allow videos that promote Sexual Orientation Change Efforts (SOCE).” The website gave Domen 24 ho...

Caring approach to the gay struggle and Biblical truth

Image
We can identify three components of sexual orientation—sexual attraction, emotional attraction, and identity (with the sexual attraction being the defining feature).  Insofar as same-sex orientation designates the experience of sexual desire for a person of the same sex, yes, it is sinful.  Insofar as same-sex orientation indicates emotional/romantic attractions that brim with erotic possibility, yes, those attractions, too, are sinful.  Insofar as sexual orientation designates an identity, yes, that identity, too, is a sinful fiction that contradicts God’s purposes for his creation.  We should not reduce human identity to fallen sexual desires. If these observations about sexual orientation are true, there are numerous pastoral implications. I want to mention three of them here. 1. To call same-sex attraction or orientation sinful does not make same-sex attracted people less like the rest of us. On the contrary, it makes them more like the rest o...

Sloppy Queensland Government Homosexual Conversion Therapy Ban

Image
Prohibitions on “gay conversion therapy” are becoming popular with legislators. Of course, no sensible person supports someone being administered – against their will – electroshock therapy or chemicals or oppressive bullying  - to make them change their sexual orientation (which are the sort of things most people think of when this phrase is used).  But there is a real danger that legislation which goes beyond targeting these specific things will itself interfere with the freedom of people to seek to change unwanted behaviors. Suppose there is a devout Christian person who accepts the Bible’s teaching that same-sex sexual activity is not God’s will, and yet experiences same-sex attraction. They approach their pastor or their small group leader and ask for help to overcome what they see as a sinful attraction, by reading the Bible with them, counseling and regular meetings for prayer. Is that going to be caught by the legislation? Take the current proposals which ...

Queensland religious groups fight move to make gay conversion therapy a crime

Image
Christian schools and organizations attack the Queensland government plan to make LGBT conversion therapy a criminal offense PASTORS TO BE JAILED FOR COUNSELLING PEOPLE Religious schools and organizations are fighting a move by the Queensland government to make LGBT-related conversion therapy a crime in the state. In late November, the Queensland government introduced legislation that would, among other amendments to health legislation, make the practice of conversion therapy to change or suppress a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity punishable by up to 18 months in jail. The examples provided in the legislation include aversion therapy, psychoanalysis or hypnotherapy with the aim of changing or suppressing a person’s sexuality, b ut it also extends to counseling and group activities. The legislation – which followed a 2018 Human Rights Law Centre review into conversion therapy practices in Australia – has the support of some medical bodies, and atheist human...

What happens when a church is infiltrated by a homosexual agenda?

Image
The Methodist Church, the largest mainline Protestant denomination in the United States, is headed toward a divorce because of homosexual sin. In early January, mediators from across the United Methodist Church proposed a separation plan to split the church into two separate denominations, with one that will allow non-biblical sinful homosexual marriages and “practicing” LGBTQ clergy. The pro-homosexual denomination would now be apostate according to scripture.  Members of the General Conference, the church’s legislative body, are expected to pass the proposal in May. If a split occurs, it will be the result of homosexual ideology seeping into Biblically illiterate Christians. The origin of the debate The United Methodist Church was formed in 1968 by the union of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Methodist Church. At that time in the United States, the civil rights movement and the immoral homosexual liberation movement were both underways. The new United ...
