Homosexual Marriage Lowers Suicide Rate - Experts Say - Australian study say irrelevant

Mental health opinions are trying to apply USA research to Australia by saying that legalising immoral homosexual marriage in Australia may lower the national suicide rate, after new research from the United States showed a 7 percent drop in suicide attempts among high school students after marriage equality laws passed. But 7% is not the whole story - but makes a good headline.

Unfortunately the USA study outlined its limitations such as self reporting by teens, the only statistic of 1 in 5 suicides still happening in homosexual communities where homosexual marriage has happens. But this will not stop the headline. The article went on to speak about other issues that arise from the dysfunctional homosexual lifestyle - which appears to want to blame family, religion, others, friends instead of looking at the issue itself- the sickness of homosexuality.

The suicide rate in Australia's LGBTQ community is hard to gauge, but according to the National LGBTI Health Alliance, LGBTQ people aged 16 to 27 are five times more likely to attempt suicide than the national average. But who would believe them? Are they experts in statistics? They can interpret deaths because of homosexual issues?

The organisation tries to state "transgender people aged 18 and over are nearly 11 times more likely" and "people with an Intersex variation aged 16 and over are nearly six times more likely" to attempt suicide. References?
But an ANU study found that negative social interactions were more likely to drive long-term mental health problems than an individual's sexual orientation. So homosexual marriage will not help but the presence of negative reactions and consequences.

The research aimed to challenge the common perception that homosexual and bisexual people were at risk of poor mental health and suicide.
"The presence of positive or negative social interactions and support were really big drivers in people's mental health outcomes."

Common risk factors like sexual trauma, childhood trauma and smoking were also identified as posing more of a long-term mental health risk than non-heterosexual orientation. Homosexual marriage will NOT assist in their mental health.

"There was very little risk for poor mental health amongst those with a homosexual orientation, particularly for those who remain stable and continue to identify as homosexual as they age," Dr Burns said.

Australia's overall suicide rate is the highest it has been for at least 10 years. According to the Bureau of Statistics, in 2015, 3027 people ended their own lives in Australia. That's 12.6 people in every 100,000. But this has nothing to do with homosexuals and suicide. These statistics are blurry but LGBTQ will still use them to advocate their immoral agenda.

"We know that marriage, regardless of the sexual orientation of the partners, is strongly associated with physical and mental health benefits and a lower suicide risk," said Dr Fiona Shand, senior researcher at Black Dog Institute and the NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Suicide Prevention.

This statement does not provide any evidence that immoral homosexual marriage will improve the mental health of the LGBTI community or reduce the overall suicide rate because homosexual relationships.

The statement by Shand talks about normal heterossexual marriage and mental health. To extrapolate across to the LGBTQ agenda is false. Also , to expand that to include immoral homosexual marriage ignores the facts of homosexuality and its sexual history. Noraml thinking people who understand biology, history, sexuality and have common sense know that homosexuality is wrong, barren, self centered and when a person has a desire or thinks they are homosexual they are entering a life that will be criticized on the outside and they will create harm inside - because essentially this is a sinful lifestyle choice and along with that sin comes all the internal bagge and self condemnation.
