A 59-year-old Boston man is challenging the city’s refusal to fly a Christian flag over city hall to recognize Christianity’s historical contributions to both Boston and the state of Massachusetts, the Boston Globe reports . Camp Constitution is a charitable trust dedicated to promoting “understanding of our Judeo-Christian moral heritage, our American heritage of courage and ingenuity, including the genius of our United States Constitution, and the application of free enterprise” through a variety of discussions, activities, and events. A Pennsylvania school district is under fire for showing students pro-homosexual videos without parents’ consent and refusing to let parents see the videos for themselves afterwards. For the pro-LGBT National Day of Silence on April 27, the Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) at Emmaus High School selected four videos that were played during morning announcements, the Morning Call  reported . Two of the titles included "9 Questions Gay People Have About Straight People" and "Show your pride. Share your love.” Those videos have since been identified. A 14-year-old male eighth grader at Tavares Middle School in Lake County, Florida brought home a printed note last Friday, given to him by his teacher , encouraging him to participate in the “ Day of Silence .” GLSEN, which stands for the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network , designated Friday, April 27 as “a student-led national event where folks take a vow of silence to highlight the silencing and erasure of LGBTQ people at school.” Some of the GLSEN coercion includes allowing students “supportive” of “Day of Silence” to refrain from verbal participation in classroom instruction, while those who do not participate in “Day of Silence” must prepare to answer class questions. The city of Boston allows any group to schedule an event at the city council plaza and fly their flag next to the American flag . Any kind of group, that is, unless the group or flag is Christian. Gay “pride” flags, transgender flags , Chinese Progressive Association flags, National Juneteenth Observance Foundation flags, and the national flags of any country, including communist countries, have flown over City Hall. But when  Camp Constitution  applied to have their day at the flagpole and speak on Christianity’s contribution to U.S. history, flying the Christian flag was specifically denied. A federal district judge yesterday dismissed a leftist lawsuit against Christian pro-family advocate Scott Lively , who was  sued for “crimes against humanity”  for helping political and faith leaders in Uganda resist the LGBTQ agenda in the east African nation. Massachusetts District Judge Michael Ponsor, in a ruling laced with harsh pro-homosexual attacks on Lively, nevertheless dismissed the SMUG ( Sexual Minorities Uganda ) LGBT lawsuit against Lively — five years after it was filed with the help of the far-left Center for Constitutional Rights ( CCR ). Ponsor cited a 2013 (unanimous) U.S. Supreme Court   ruling  that the Alien Tort Statute did not apply to international claims as the reason for dismissing the lawsuit. Heyer’s first attempt to restore his legal gender as a male on his birth certificate was in 1989, but California state authorities would not allow it. ROWAN COUNTY, Kentucky , November 3, 2015 -- Kentucky clerk Kim Davis is taking her fight to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals . In a 126-page appeal, Davis and her attorneys with Liberty Counsel asked the Circuit Court to overturn four lower-court decisions. Specifically, they are asking the Court to reverse two injunctions against Davis, as well as grant her an injunction from having to follow the Supreme Court's marriage ruling, and overturn the contempt of court decision   that placed her in jail .
