Down syndrome ‘drag show’ created by LGBT activist coming to Michigan

Image
A public art event in Grand Rapids, Michigan next month will feature men and women with Down syndrome performing as “drag queens” and “drag kings.”   A drag group known as “Drag Syndrome” is comprised of performers with Down syndrome, and is an LGBT activist's attempt to promote so-called “inclusion.”  Their performances feature song and dance by men wearing women’s dresses, garish makeup, wigs, and in some cases fake breasts. Women sport beards and men’s clothing. A local TV channel, Wood TV, reports that "some people may be concerned because people with Down syndrome have limited mental capacity that they might not have the ability to decide to take part or understand what they are taking part in."  The organizers of the show, however, are defending the event.  “We sought them out because they are at the very highest level of disability drag,” said event organizer Jill Vyn of DisArt, a Grand Rapids organization that connects art and people with disabilities.

Get Outraged and Stay Outraged

Image
There are some things so wrong that we cannot allow ourselves to get used to them. We must always be outraged over them. Always grieved over them. We can never accept them as the new status quo. The drag queen assault on our children is one of those things. I’m talking about the celebration of little children in drag. I’m talking about drag queens dancing for our children (and reading stories to them). I’m talking about children posing with naked (or nearly naked) drag queens. This is unacceptable. This is perverse. This is outrageous. Coming After Our Children It was bad enough when this stuff happened at gay pride parades. It was even worse when it started to happen in our community libraries. Yes, you ought to be outraged. Now it has even entered houses of worship. As a June 24 headline announced , “Drag Queen Reads During Worship Service as Cincinnati Church Celebrates Pride Month.” As reported, “Following the song ‘God Welcomes All’ by the church choir, [Dad] Davidson [who was

Canadian public broadcaster interviews children for documentary about drag

A lithe, long-legged dancer performs for the camera, rolling onto her back.  She looks like a pre-teen girl and, surprise, she is one. Twelve-year-old Bracken Hanke is one of the children being interviewed by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for its upcoming documentary for children about children who do drag.  CBC Kids News tweeted a three-minute video yesterday in which the “four stars” of the promised show squirm artistically for the camera and explain what drag means for them.    CBC Kids News @CBCKidsNews What's it like to be a KID # DRAGQUEEN ? @ CBCKidsNews spoke with the four stars of CBC's new # DragKids documentary to find out what # drag is, and why they do it. # lgbtq # queer # kiddragqueen @ cbcdocs 458 2:38 AM - Jul 5, 2019 3,467 people are talking about this Twitter Ads info and privacy The tax-funded broadcaster presented the short promo with the statement: “What

Houston Public Library “Drag Queen” as a convicted child sex offender.

Image
Now, it turns out that a second Houston Public Library Drag Queen was  convicted of multiple sexual assaults against young children, according to records uncovered by Houston MassResistance activists. The man has also written a lurid article describing his work as a transgender prostitute. And he was photographed at a Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH) event carrying a rubber chicken – a symbol used by homosexuals to indicate a sexual preference for young boys. This man is part of the local Drag Queen group brought in to do the Story Hour” events. We now know that the local group is part of a bigoted national anti-Catholic Drag Queen organization. It’s becoming clear that the outrages we’re exposing are not an anomaly, but more likely the norm – not only in Houston but probably around the country. California middle school puts on LGBT fair with drag queen lessons, doesn’t tell parents

Image
"You did what?!" Parents across Santa Ana couldn't believe it. In one house after another, the answer to "How was school today?" was nothing like they expected. Moms and dads listened in disbelief as their middle schoolers talked about going to an "LGBT Fair" that no one bothered to ask their permission for. There were even people in drag, their 11-year-olds said, giving make-up lessons — right there in school. Townhall's Kira Davis listened as one mom fumed about not knowing about the fair until after it happened. There wasn't even an opportunity to opt-out, she complained at last Tuesday's school board meeting. Unfortunately, that was just one of the infuriating examples the largely-Hispanic community used to explain how fed-up they were with the state's new sex ed law. But the problem is a lot bigger than the law, Davis explained. It's how liberals are exploiting the Spanish-speaking communities to implement it. In one of

‘I won’t let drag queens come in here’: Pastor asks man dressed as ‘woman’ to leave church

Image
A pastor asked a young male who showed up for a religious service in drag to go home and put on “man clothes.”   “I hold a standard in here,” Chicago Pastor Antonio Rocquemore said to the man dressed in women’s clothing. “Whatever you do on the outside is your business, but I would not let drag queens come in here.”   “When you come into this house, if you’re a man, dress as a man; if you’re a woman, dress as a woman,” added the pastor.   As Rocquemore continued to explain his request to the man, using the incident as a teachable moment, shouts of “amen” and applause from the congregation grew to a crescendo. “I’m not going to allow you to disrespect the House of God,” declared Pastor Rocquemore. The brief drama which took place at Powerhouse International Ministries was captured in a cell phone video and posted along with a profanity-laden paragraph on Facebook by Christian James Lhuillier. Since it was first uploaded four days ago, the  video  has been viewed nearly a h

American Library Association doubles down on drag queens reading to kids

Image
The American Library Association (ALA) has revealed that it has not yet reached the nadir of ethical corruption. Through its Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) division, the Intellectual Freedom Committee, which promotes "continuing education programs" for children, just  wrote this  (you better be sitting down): Interested in bringing Drag Queen Storytime to your library? ALSC Committee Members received tips for optimizing success from library pioneers who have already done it.  We also had the chance to meet a Drag Queen who talked about the value of offering this program, including fostering empathy, tolerance, creativity, imagination and fun. I kid you not. Librarians who have brought in deviant entertainers to captivate the innocent imaginations of toddlers are "pioneers"? Think "brood of vipers." This feckless ALA statement raises questions:  Should  we foster in children empathy for those who choose to engage in transvest

Drag queens at public libraries: the new strategy to indoctrinate kids and sideline Christians

Image
Every summer growing up, my mother would dutifully drive my siblings and me down to the local public library so that we could be part of the annual Summer Reading Program. Reading contests were held, prizes were handed out, and nearly every week there was a new event for the kids—my two favorites being a costumed medieval troupe that taught us all about life in the Middle Ages, and an animal wrangler who came festooned with snakes and carting along other strange creatures. A recent glance at the news, however, illustrated to me just how much things have changed in the twenty or so years since I traipsed into the library every week with my family. These days, public libraries have now joined the growing list of places that are showcasing the LGBT movement to children, with activist groups sponsoring drag queens to read “LGBT-friendly” books to the boys and girls who assemble for these events. In Toronto, drag queens have been brought in to read stories like My Princess Boy to childre

UK schools to host ‘Drag Queen Story Time’ for students as young as two

Image
Starting tomorrow, men dressed as women will be reading stories to children as young as two at a chain of London nursery schools. The London Early Years Foundation has “teamed up” with “ Drag Queen Story Time” to “connect children and drag queens through the art of storytelling and fun interactive events,” according to the chain’s press release. Drag Queen Story Time (DQST) is the brainchild of Bristol ’s Thomas Canham, a 25-year-old inspired by New York City’s Drag Queen Story Hour. When the producers of American television show “ RuPaul’s Drag Race ” tweeted news of the New York program, Canham tweeted back, “Why can’t we have something like this in the UK ?” To his surprise, the producers wrote back suggesting he start his own group. Canham, described as a “call centre employee” and as a “law student,” launched his Drag Queen Story Time project in May. He set up a Crowdfunder campaign to buy storybooks and pay for mandatory police checks on volunteers. He recruited aro
