Feminist icon: Transgender ‘women’ like Bruce Jenner aren’t women. They’re delusional.

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Author and '60s radical feminist Germaine Greer is coming under fire after telling the BBC that transgender "women," such as Bruce Jenner , are not women and that they don't "look like, sound like, or behave like women.” Greer was responding to a petition that was being passed around by leftist activists demanding that Cardiff University   cancel a lecture   by the radical feminist scheduled for November 18 because of her history of making statements questioning transgenderism. Criticizing Glamour magazine ’s decision to name Jenner " Woman of the Year ," Greer told the BBC, "I think misogyny plays a really big part in all of this, that a man who goes to these lengths to become a woman will be a better woman than someone who is just born a woman.” Greer suggested that Jenner's transition was part of an effort to gain attent

Will Justice Anthony decision on homosexual marriage have unintended consequences?

Image
English: Justice Anthony Kennedy, 2009. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The U.S. Supreme Court issued its monumental ruling on same-sex “marriage” on Friday, declaring that all 50 states must and are “required ” to legalize “gay marriage” under the U.S. Constitution . “The court now holds that same-sex couples may exercise the fundamental right to marry. No longer may this liberty be denied to them,” Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote in the 5-4 decision, with the majority being the liberal justices on the bench: Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg , Justice Elena Kagan , Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Justice Steven Breyer and the aforementioned Justice Kennedy. While the court recognized the longstanding definition of marriage as being “a union between two persons of the opposite sex,” the five justices opined that “the history of marriage is one of both continuity and change.” “That institution—even as confined to opposite-sex relations—has evolved over time,” Kennedy said. “No union is mo

Facebook’s conformity campaign

Image
Facebook  launched a new "Celebrate Pride" tool which lets users blend their Facebook profile photo with the rainbow flag . The tool came out soon after the U.S. Supreme Court 's ruling on same-sex marriage was announced last Friday, and it has become a massive movement. Within hours of the tool's launch,  over a million people  had changed their profile photo. It now likely reaches into almost everyone's Friend list , including mine. I was startled at first when I logged into Facebook and saw that a few of my friends had giant rainbows painted across their faces in their profile pics. My first surprise was that some of these people were conservatives, whom I had believed supported the conjugal definition of marriage . I guess I learned something about my friends this weekend. But Facebook's new tool also got me thinking.  What else is this, but a massive conformity campaign?  I look at my list of friends and breathe a sigh of relief. Only a few have d

Host Lesley Stahl appeared shocked by the revelation, although Schwarzenegger has long been known to sympathize with the gay rights cause. This immoral man himself approves of immoral homosexual relationships.  In the context of a conversation about his stance on homosexual ‘marriage,’ Stahl asked the former California Governor if he attended the wedding of his former chief of staff Susan Kennedy to her same-sex partner. “I performed the wedding in the office. I married her in the office, in the governor’s office,” replied Schwarzenegger. Asked if he had married any other gay couples, he replied,

California bishops urge opposition to pro-gay textbook law

Image via Wikipedia The California Catholic Conference has issued an  action alert  encouraging California Catholics to contact their Assembly Members in opposition to a proposed state law regulating text book content. SB 48, The Fair, Accurate, Inclusive and Respectful Education Act, was introduced by openly homosexual state Senator Mark Leno and passed by the Senate in April. It was passed by the Assembly Education Committee in a party line vote and now awaits a floor vote in the Assembly. Democrats currently maintain a strong majority in the lower house of the California legislature, holding 52 of 80 seats.  If the bill is passed by the Assembly, it will go to the desk of Democratic Governor Jerry Brown for signature. A similar bill was vetoed in 2006 by former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger . If passed, the bill would require a politically correct overhaul of social science curriculum in California schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. It mandates propo

California Schools caught in Leno's homosexual trap
