A British politician has claimed on national television that children are “born without sex.” Dawn Butler, a Labour Party MP and Shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities made the comment yesterday on the popular morning TV show Good Morning Britain (GMB) while discussing transgender issues. GMB presenter Richard Madeley asked Butler: "Do you think somebody that embraces transgender but nevertheless decides that there is a biological difference based on chromosomes, based on a penis that may not have been removed after surgery, are you saying that you think that person is transphobic?" Butler replied: "If you’re saying that a trans woman isn’t a woman then there are issues around that.” "Talking about penises and vaginas doesn’t help the conversation because what you’re saying then is a trans woman isn’t a woman by your own definition," she added. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Banning ‘Transphobic Feminist Speakers’ Back in the U.K. , another  headline  declared, “ University of Bristol students vote to ban ‘ transphobic feminist speakers.’” Yes , University of Bristol students have voted to no platform trans exclusionary radical feminists (TERFs) from speaking on campus. TERF is an acronym for Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist, who claim that trans women are not women and argue that they have male privilege .  So, famous feminists like Germaine Greer and Linda Bellos would likely be banned from campus for being “trans exclusionary.” How dare they argue that a biological male who later “transitions” to female is not a real female, or, at the least, cannot relate to the lifelong experiences of a female? What a bigoted transphobic point of view! And it is other feminists who are pushing the ban. I can only shake my head in
