Penny Wong (lesbian in ssm) claims Israel Folau faith is wrong

Image
Penny Wong is a Labor Senator for the Australian Government. She is a lesbian woman in fake homosexual marriage to another woman with a child. She claims to be a Christian. Here is her statement to Israel Folau. Israel Folau is a footballer and Christian. He was sacked because he posted on Facebook a quote from 1 Corinthians 6.  Raelene Cole CEO of Rugby Australia sacked him for quoting the Bible but in particular, was offended by God including homosexuality as a sin that prohibits eternal life.   1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.  Verse 11 then says:  And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our Go

Gay Right VS Religious Freedom Rights

Deceptions about the actual voting process, rather than any claimed “misleading” data. George Brandis Evidence presented to the Senate committee shows that statutory protection of religious belief is weak both in federal law and a number of states. It mainly exists as “exemptions” from anti-discrimination law . The Anglican Diocese of Sydney made the obvious point to the committee that this failed to treat freedom of belief and religion as a fundamental human right. Marriage Alliance said: “We submit that religious freedom is a fundamental human right (and) that framing a debate in terms of exemptions misunderstands this fact.” There was strong support in submissions for parliament to legislate to enshrine religious guarantees as a protected attribute in federal anti-discrimination law. This is the pivotal point. The committee unanimously agreed there was a “need to enhance current protections for religious freedom”. The Human Rights Law Centre said: “ Religious freedom sho

Religious Organizations targeted by future LGBTQ marriage

Image
Peter Dutton says religious schools must have right to teach own definition of marriage.   Religious schools , including Catholic and Anglican schools, should have a legislatively protected right to teach their conception of marriage, Peter Dutton  has said. Dutton has weighed in on the side of Coalition conservatives, including Tony Abbott , who argue that religious freedom and freedom of speech are at stake in the same-sex marriage postal survey, a view rejected by the attorney general, George Brandis , and fellow moderate Christopher Pyne . Dutton’s comments came after the Liberal MP Andrew Hastie said he would lobby “very hard” for religious protections to be included in a same-sex marriage bill, foreshadowing a major fight about which bill should be used to legislate marriage equality if the yes case wins the upcoming survey. Asked about the same-sex marriage debate, Dutton said the government’s position is “there needs to be protection for religious freedom”. “People ne

Vatican adviser scraps Catholic teaching, says God made gays ‘who they are’

Image
A high profile Vatican consultant has publicly departed from Catholic teaching on homosexuality, saying God made “ LGBTQ people … who they are.” Father James Martin, a Jesuit priest who is the editor at large of America Magazine as well as an adviser to the Vatican's Secretariat for Communications, made the comment to the pro-homosexual organization PFLAG ( Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays ) on August 18. Martin spoke on the occasion of PFLAG honoring him with its 2017 Flag Bearer Award for making what it called “lasting contributions to the safety and/or equality of people who are LGBTQ, their families, and allies.” The award will be given at PFLAG’s National Convention in Portland, Oregon, two months from now. “I'm grateful to PFLAG for this recognition, and I hope that the award serves as another reminder that all LGBTQ people are beloved children of God, that God made them who they are, and that they have as much place in our churches as anyone el

Why marriage should be between a man and a woman

Image
"On the issue of marriage I think the reality is there is a cultural, religious, historical view around that which we have to respect. The party's position is very clear that this is an institution that is between a man and a woman." If I told you that was a quote from Cory Bernardi , Lyle Shelton or worse, that oft condemned unreconstructed traditionalist Tony Abbott , would you consider it just more evidence of their homophobia ? Many commentators would. It seems right now no one can make any statement in favour of marriage without being condemned for being a "hater" or "bigot".  However, the statement doesn't come from Mr Bernardi, but from that other strong-minded senator from South Australia , Penny Wong . Senator Wong articulated the traditional view of marriage in an interview on the Sunday program on network TEN in 2010. She spoke it in that calm, emphatic metre which has made her so formidable in our parliament. It's a bold

Australia - Homosexual marriage plebiscite and LGBTQ hypocrisy

Image
We hold referendums before making changes to our legal constitution – a plebiscite seems not inappropriate before making an unprecedented change to our social constitution In a wide-ranging speech delivered last week and published in the Guardian (“Straight politicians don’t understand what it’s like to hide their relationships in fear), Senate opposition leader Penny Wong made the case against a plebiscite on the redefinition of the marriage. Her three claims were:   ppposition to homosexual marriage is essentially homophobia Australian people cannot be trusted to have a respectful discussion about such matters Homosexual marriage should be left to the parliament Is it true that all defenders of the traditional definition of marriage act out of “condemnation … animosity … casual and deliberate prejudice… [and] hate” towards same-sex attracted people, as Penny Wong suggests?  Well, until a few years ago the senator herself opposed the redefinition of marriage; so

Homosexual marriage - referendum vs Plebiscite vs Change Constitution

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Any referendum questions on marriage must canvass the consequences of change, allowing a free and open debate, Australian Christian Lobby Managing Director Lyle Shelton said today. “This debate can’t continue with television networks like Channel 7 and Channel 10 refusing to run innocuous advertisements putting the other side of the argument,” Mr Shelton said. “The word ‘bigotry’, used again by journalists on social media last night, must be dropped from the public discourse so that there is complete freedom to put the alternative view.” Mr Shelton said the Prime Minister Tony Abbott ’s floating of a referendum or plebiscite next term of Parliament gave breathing space for ordinary Australians to be allowed to know what is at stake. “Any referendum questions must canvass the harms to freedom of speech, religion and conscience raised by the Australian Human Right’s Commission’s ‘freedom commissioner’ Tim Wilson

Gay ‘marriage’ set for defeat in Australia despite boost from US ruling

Image
CANBERRA , Australia , August 11, 2015 -- Defenders of natural marriage in Australia have had a stunning ' David vs Goliath ' win against a well-funded pro-same sex “marriage” lobby group that had the active support of the mainstream media and corporate bodies.  After a marathon six-hour party room meeting dedicated to the issue, two-thirds of government MPs have voted to maintain the position of voting as a block along party lines rather than permit members to have a conscience vote on the issue. This means that the coalition government will honour the commitment it went to the election with, to maintain the definition of marriage as being between a man and a woman.  As a result, the private members' bill put forward by opposition leader Bill Shorten will fail should it come to a vote.  The politicians pushing for same sex “marriage” had rushed to bring their bill forward to take advantage of the political momentum generated by the United States Supreme Court d

Traditional beliefs ignored in marriage equality debate

Image
Same Sex Marriage (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Opposing change on the basis of deeply held beliefs isn’t bigotry. In recent years there has been a remarkable shift in sentiment across the Western world about same-sex marriage . It may well be that in the next Federal Parliament, if not in this, there will be a majority of MPs who support change. The change in thinking is particularly apparent in the Labor Party . Less than four years ago, party policy was to oppose same-sex marriage. A little more than 10 years ago it voted with the Coalition to include in the Marriage Act a definition of marriage as between a man and a woman. Now, by 2019, MPs who hold that view will no longer be able to have a conscience vote on the matter. The implicit message, regrettably, is that people of devout faith who hold traditional views about marriage are no longer welcome in the party – a position that will be electorally dangerous for Labor in the long term. These are the "true believers&q

Australian Senator Wong wants to force her homosexuality onto all Australians - even with tears

Image
Penny Wong, Senator for South Australia,  supports immoral homosexual marriage and wants to force her views on all of Australia (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Groans and heckling greeted Liberal Senator Cory Bernardi each time he raised the rights of children to be allowed to know their mother and father. Loud applause greeted Senator Penny Wong each time she made a point supporting same-sex marriage . Another illogical unreasoned debate with ignorant journalist unable to think beyond the obvious. In what was the hottest ticket in town today at Canberra ’s National Press Club, the atmosphere felt more like ABC1’s Q & A program as the two debated changing the definition of marriage . With a cross-party bill to be introduced into Parliament in two week’s time, today’s press club debate was a sell-out. The pair jousted over rights of children and freedom of speech and conscience. While Senator Wong rightly points out that some same-sex couples already have children, she does no

Australian Labor party may force all their party to vote for homosexual marriage

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Further evidence of the intolerance of the leading voices in the same-sex marriage debate will be on display again at this weekend’s Australian Labor Party National Conference in Melbourne . At its last conference in 2011, Labor changed its party policy to support redefining marriage in law. It was a terrible blow to have one of the two major political parties capitulate. However, at that time, Labor made an important concession. Normally conscience votes on both sides of politics are reserved for life or death matters such as abortion or euthanasia. But in this case, after tense backroom negotiations, Labor decided to depart from this political rule of thumb and allow its parliamentarians a conscience vote . Under Labor’s party rules, parliamentarians who vote against party policy are automatically expelled. (The Liberal’s don’t expel
