Homosexuals can't claim liberation like black racial liberation

Image
The argument comparing Homosexual marriage to Black racial liberation is now seen as completely false because you can't tell if a homosexual by race. But now the pro-homosexual  groups will seek to make homosexuality normal. Just get to know, we are just like you.  This article below is the attempt by the Australian ABC to present Homosexuals as normal people. Using "gaydar" to identify if someone is homosexual is a harmful waste of time, researchers claim. A team from University of Wisconsin-Madison challenged what they identified as "the gaydar myth" and found not only was it inaccurate, it was a damaging form of stereotyping . A 2008 study from a different group of researchers suggested people could accurately identify someone's sexual orientation based on photographs of their faces. But in the University of Wisconsin-Madison team's paper published in the Journal of Sex Research , this was found to be untrue based on the parameters of

32 states ask the Supreme Court to weigh in on same-sex ‘marriage’ bans

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) America’s so-called “ red states ” and “blue states” may have very different views about whether same-sex “marriage” should be legal, but there’s one thing a majority have agreed upon: The Supreme Court needs to make a ruling on the issue, and soon. Citing the “morass” brought about by dozens of conflicting court decisions at both the state and federal level regarding the legality of marriage protection laws – which define marriage as a union between one man and one woman – seventeen states with such laws have signed on to a court filing asking the Supreme Court to review two federal circuit court rulings overturning  Oklahoma’s  and  Utah’s  bans on same-sex “marriage.” Colorado , which is currently fighting its own battle with the 10 th  Circuit to save its marriage protection law, led the

Retail chain Target joins legal battle against man-woman marriage

Image
English: Logo of Target, US-based retail chain (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) After several years of support for homosexual advocacy efforts, the retail chain Target has joined the legal fight to dismantle the definition of marriage as one and one woman. The company announced this week that they have filed an amicus brief with the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals backing “marriage equality.” In a blog post  Tuesday, Jodee Kozlak, Target’s executive vice president and chief human resources officer, said they filed the brief to oppose bans on same-sex “marriage” in Wisconsin and Indiana . She wrote: It is our belief that everyone should be treated equally under the law, and that includes rights we believe individuals should have related to marriage. … At Target, we have long offered comprehensive, competitive benefits to our LGBT team members and their families, often above what is legally required. We continue to do so today because we believe doing so is right for our t

Judge refuses to delay same-sex ‘marriage’ lawsuit in Wisconsin

Image
MADISON, WI ,  – A federal judge will  allow  a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Wisconsin’s ban on same-sex “marriage” to continue, over the objections of state officials. The state of Wisconsin had asked the court to delay proceedings pending the results of another case pertaining to domestic partnerships.  But U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb refused, saying she believes the domestic partnership case can only serve to boost gay couples’ legal prospects, so waiting on the results is pointless. U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb “Abstaining or staying the case would serve no purpose but to delay the case,” Crabb wrote. “As the [homosexual] plaintiffs point out, if the Wisconsin Supreme Court upholds the domestic partnership law , nothing changes.  If the court invalidates the law, the only effect is to make the deprivation imposed on plaintiffs by [the marriage amendment] more severe. Thus, it is difficult to envision any scenario in which the state defendant

Catholic Parish to Boy Scout troop: Obey the faith on homosexuality or go somewhere else

Image
ALTOONA, WI , August 8, 2013 ( LifeSiteNew s.com ) – A Catholic parish in Wisconsin has told the Boy Scout troop it has sponsored for the last 20 years that it will have to find a new home in response to the troop’s decision to allow practicing homosexuals to join. The Boy Scouts of America   voted in May  to overturn its longstanding policy barring openly gay scouts, and instead allowed troops to include gay scouts if they choose. Boy Scout Troop 90, which meets at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Altoona, revised its membership policy to state that no boy could be denied membership “on the basis of sexual orientation or preference alone.” Scoutmaster Bob Thill told the  Eau Claire Leader-Telegram that while Troop 90’s families were evenly split on the issue, the troop changed the rule because “it's the way of the times, and I guess you've got to keep up with it.” But Fr. Derek Sakowski, St. Mary's pastor, said he objects to the policy’s use of the term “

Gay ‘marriage’ won’t be legal in Wisconsin ‘anytime soon,’ Governor Scott Walker says

Image
The state of Wisconsin will not change its definition of marriage “anytime soon,” according to Republican Governor Scott Walker . Although state voters enacted a constitutional marriage protection amendment in 2006 with 59 percent of the vote, and polls show a majority of state residents do not support redefining marriage, the media asked the governor to address the issue this weekend at the National Governors Association meeting in Milwaukee. Changing the state constitution “requires two consecutive sessions of the legislature, and ultimately, a vote of the people. I just don't see that being an issue that's going to be addressed anytime soon,” he said. During a break at the meeting, Illinois Governor Pat Quinn , a Democrat and a Catholic,  called  on the Republican Walker to support gay “marriage” in order to fit in with surrounding states. But the states bordering Wisconsin largely do  not  same-sex “marriage.” Minnesota  changed the definition of marriage

Paul Ryan flip-flops, now supports gay adoption

Image
WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and Sports  – Paul Ryan , the 2012 Republican vice presidential candidate , announced on Monday that he has changed his position on “gay adoptions”; he now favors them. Speaking at a town hall meeting in Janesville, Wisconsin, Ryan responded to a question on same-sex “marriage” with a statement about his reversed position on same-sex adoption . Paul Ryan has found common ground with Barack Obama . "I do believe that if there are children who are orphans who do not have a loving person or couple, I think if a person wants to love and raise a child they ought to be able to do that. Period,” Ryan explained. “I would vote that way," he added. In 1999, Congressman Ryan voted far a ban on same-sex couples adopting children in the District of Columbia, but says he has since changed his mind. However, he said that he still opposes same-sex “marriage.” Ryan’s 2012 presidential running mate, Governor Mitt Romney, said he

Tammy Baldwin's Election and 'Glee' are Signs that America is 'Falling Apart'

Talk show host Janet Mefferd invited Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth about Homosexuality onto her  program  on Friday to mourn the recent string of electoral victories of openly gay candidates and gay rights measures.  Mefferd : Seven million white voters stayed home, everything was about this minority group and we should’ve been more pro-amnesty etcetera, and there was a lot of discussion about how the GOP needs to be for amnesty now, needs to do this and that to reach the particular Latino group or what have you, and in fact you wonder how many of those white voters who stayed home actually would’ve come out if they would’ve had a candidate who had a backbone on issues that are culturally important to them. LaBarbera : Let’s talk about the homosexual issue Janet, of course Romney barely, I don’t know in the general election, was it raised at all? Mefferd : No. LaBarbera : We’re talking about a sin movement here. Would we be ticking off any other collective grou

Baldwin will be replaced in the U.S. House of Representatives by another openly homosexual Democrat , Mark Pocan . “Yesterday reminds us we have much work to do in Wisconsin and in America,” Wisconsin Family Action  wrote  in

Judge rules Wisconsin gay domestic partnership law legal, not similar to marriage

Image
Image via Wikipedia A circuit court judge has ruled that Wisconsin ’s domestic partner registry law does not violate a voter-approved constitutional amendment banning same-sex “marriage” or a marriage-like legal status for homosexual couples. “ The state does not recognize domestic partnership in a way that mirrors how the state recognizes marriage,” Dane County Judge Daniel Moeser wrote in a ruling released Monday. The constitutional amendment, which was approved by 59 percent of Wisconsin voters in 2006, states, “Only a marriage between one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in this state.  A legal status identical or substantially similar to that of marriage for unmarried individuals shall not be valid or recognized in this state.” Pro- traditional marriage advocates argue that the domestic partnership law passed by a Democrat-controlled legislature in 2009 sets up an institution for homosexuals that parrots marriage. However, the judge disagreed
