Homosexual Activism just another bully platform

August 12, 2013 ( The Public Discourse )  - On June 19, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan ruled in favor of a high school student named Daniel Glowacki, who had charged that his high school teacher, Jay McDowell, had violated his constitutional right to freedom of speech. He was granted one dollar in compensation. The court’s verdict, in vulgar terms, was that the pig had the right to say what he said. The facts, according to the court’s judgment, are these. On October 20, 2011, the Gay Straight Alliance at Howell High School planned to take part in a national “campaign aimed at raising awareness of the bullying of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered youth.” The court acknowledges that the day is also called “ Spirit Day ,” which, the plaintiffs contended, is so-called to foster acceptance in the public schools of the homosexual lifestyle. The Gay Straight Alliance made up flyers to be posted all around the school, urging students to wear purple

Porn one of the greatest threats to Christianity: Christian apologist

Heterosexual and homosexual pornography is out there, and it’s not going away any time soon. So to help your kids guard against it, you have to prepare them. According to Josh McDowell , author of books including “Evidence which Demands a Verdict” and “ More Than a Carpenter ,” who has turned his attention of late to the devastation of pornography on our culture and the Church, this may rank among the greatest threats to Christianity we’ve ever seen. Explaining why he decided to tackle the issue of pornography, Josh said in an interview with John Stonestreet of Breakpoint how he sensed a barrier to his apologetic work which had nothing to do with the Faith itself. “I am an apologist,” says Josh. “I set forth positive reasons why to believe, in order to see young people come to Christ . But about five or six years ago, I kept sensing that there’s a problem out there. When I would interact with young people, something had become a barrier. I realized it was intrusive and pervasiv

VIDEO: teen recounts pro-gay teacher fuming at him for Catholic stance

HOWELL, Michigan, May 18, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - The testimony of a Catholic teen and his mother has shed light on the story of how one high school teacher managed to spark a national media blitz that led to their branding as “maliciously anti-gay Catholic bigots” - all because the teen disclosed his religious beliefs about homosexuality in a classroom altercation. Daniel Glowacki and his mother Sandy from Howell, Michigan tell of how high school economics teacher Jay McDowell was launched to national hero status after the latter began spreading his story of “confronting homophobia” on radio interviews and elsewhere. Both Daniel and school officials say McDowell sparked the conversation in a Howell High School classroom in 2010 when, after telling a female student to remove her Confederate flag belt buckle, he explained the purple “Tyler’s army” shirt he was wearing was meant to promote tolerance of homosexuality. “I rasied my hand and I asked him what the di

The Thomas More Law Center (TMLC) announced in a press release Thursday that they had filed a lawsuit on behalf of Daniel Glowacki, a junior at Howell High School at the time of the incident, against the school and his economics teacher Johnson McDowell. The incident occurred on October 20, 2010, the day that Daniel’s Economics class teacher, Jay McDowell, wore a purple “Tyler’s Army” t-shirt, as part of a national campaign promoted by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation to highlight “bullying” of homosexuals. The lawyers say McDowell spent the entire class promoting the anti-gay bullying agenda. According to TMLC, which is representing the student in court, Glowacki was specifically asked by McDowell about his feelings o
