Do you want to loose your religious Freedoms ? The LGBTQI folk are not asking but are demanding all religious restrictions be removed so they can do whatever they want. They will talk in terms of hate, discrimination, intolerance, unfairness. But once religious freedoms are gone they will not come back. the UK and USA are prime examples where promises were made then watered down fast.  This is a submission to the Ruddock enquiry. The author of the once popular Bible called - 'The Message' said he supported homosexual marriage but within days changed his statement to saying he didn't support homosexual marriage. A pastor has had many years to clarify the biblical position so when he was interviewed, he responded casually that he supported homosexual marriage. But then he realized that his translation would now be dumped - he retracted his statement. But is this retraction true? Eugene H. Peterson , a retired Presbyterian minister and award-winning author, backtracked Thursday after his  public affirmation of same-sex marriage  generated a bitter backlash from some Christian supporters. The 84-year old, recognized most for his contemporary translation of the Bible, " The Message: The Bible in Contemporary Language ,” clarified his comments regarding same-sex marriage, upholding a traditional Christian view on marriage. "To clarify, I affirm a biblical view of marriage: one man to one woman," Peterson said in a  lengthy statement to The Washington Post . "I affirm a biblical view of everything." Peterson's retraction follows an  interview with Religion News Service  in which he was asked whether he would perform a same-sex wedding had he still been a pastor, which Peterson responded to with a terse, "Yes."
