PA school shows teens LGBT propaganda videos, refuses to let parents see them

Image
A Pennsylvania school district is under fire for showing students pro-homosexual videos without parents’ consent and refusing to let parents see the videos for themselves afterwards. For the pro-LGBT National Day of Silence on April 27, the Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) at Emmaus High School selected four videos that were played during morning announcements, the Morning Call  reported . Two of the titles included "9 Questions Gay People Have About Straight People" and "Show your pride. Share your love.” Those videos have since been identified. The BuzzFeed-produced “ 9 Questions ” video features LGBT speakers mocking the description of homosexuality as a “lifestyle” rather than “just my life,” claiming gay couples not reproducing is a non-issue because “technically the world is overpopulated,” mocking straight people for being offended by assumptions that they’re gay, denigrating heterosexual marriage for high divorce rates, and more. The YouTube-produced “ Sho

New Toronto Catholic Board Trustee motion to overturn gay clubs enforcement

TORONTO, May 13, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – A new Toronto District Catholic School Board motion up for vote on May 23, seeks to reject the Ontario Liberal Government’s enforcement of homosexual activist clubs in Catholic schools .  "The Anti-Bullying Clubs Policy Change" motion supports the anti- bullying program recommended by the Archdiocese of Toronto , which opposes bullying of any type in school, thus rejecting Premier Dalton McGuinty ’s insistence on homosexual-focused anti-bullying clubs. (See the motion  here ) The motion, submitted by Toronto District Catholic School Board Trustee Garry Tanuan and seconded by Trustee John Del Grande, has the support of Catholic ratepayers and parents groups around the province which fought  the legislation  passed in June which attempted to force compliance by Catholic schools. ACLU threatens to sue after Pennsylvania school board blocks Gay-Straight Alliance club

CHAMBERSBURG, PA , March 20, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews ) – The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is threatening a Pennsylvania school district with legal action after the school board voted 5-4 to block the formation of a “ Gay-Straight Alliance ” (GSA) at a local high school.  The ACLU gave the Chambersburg Area School District a Wednesday deadline to reverse its decision before the ACLU moved forward with the suit.  But on early Wednesday afternoon, a district representative who asked not to be named told LifeSiteNews by phone that the original decision to bar the club still stands.  As to whether the school board might yet change their minds in the face of legal action, the employee said, “No decision has been made at this time.” The ACLU of Pennsylvania and homosexual advocacy group Equality PA originally wrote to the district on March 12 demanding they reverse their decision within three days, or be sued in federal court. According to Witold Walczak , ACLU-PA lega

Bullying in the name of anti-bullying

Image
Image via Wikipedia On Nov. 30, Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty introduced Bill 13, The Accepting Schools Act. This arrived on the heels of a tragic and much-publicized suicide involving Ottawa teenager, Jamie Hubley. The teen suffered with depression and happened to also be openly gay. The media dutifully painted the picture that Hubley committed suicide primarily due to “homophobic bullying” despite the fact his father, an Ottawa city councilor, admitted the teen struggled with depression for years. EGALE , the powerful gay lobby group that coordinated and funded lawsuits across Canada to abolish the true definition of marriage, fuelled the media frenzy to create a sense of “crisis,” as if gay teens were suddenly killing themselves left and right. Oh, and of course, the insinuation is that it’s because of bullying at school based on sexual orientation, although there’s no proof of that either. In fact, there is evidence that harassment of “gay” teens may neither be as frequent,

Toronto Catholic teachers’ union backs gay relationships

Image via Wikipedia TORONTO, Ontario , December 13, 2011 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - A major wing of the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA) is calling on the union to ensure teachers at Catholic schools who are in homosexual relationships are eligible for hiring and promotion despite their dissent to the Church’s prohibition of homosexual relations.  The Toronto OECTA group is also calling for the union to formally endorse gay-straight clubs. On November 24th, OECTA’s Toronto Secondary Unit (TSU) passed resolutions to make these two proposals at the controversial union’s annual general meeting in March. The votes come at the same time as OECTA has openly celebrated its partnership with homosexual lobby group Egale in a statement praising a new bill by Dalton McGuinty ’s Liberals cracking down on homosexual bullying. LifeSiteNews exposed OECTA’s partnership with Egale last December, causing a stir among members who objected to having their union dues support one o

McGuinty forces gay agenda in classrooms: lesbian minister

Image
Ontario ’s Liberal government will not back down from imposing its homosexualist equity and inclusive education ( EIE ) strategy on Ontario’s schools, insists Transportation Minister Kathleen Wynne , who oversaw the controversial policy’s development. Kathleen Wynne In an interview with Xtra last Wednesday, Wynne said the education system is the “single most important” means of tackling “homophobia” among today’s youth. The EIE strategy, which Wynne launched in her previous role as Minister of Education , urged school boards to participate in the Gay Pride parades , use texts by homosexual authors , and introduce gay-straight alliance clubs. Since its introduction, public school boards such as  Toronto  and  Hamilton  have moved to integrate their “sexual diversity” instruction throughout the curriculum while at the same time forbidding parents from removing their children from the classroom during controversial discussions.   McGuinty’s government has failed to enforce a clear Mini

Image
Image via Wikipedia A top anti “gay bullying” organization has been awarded a long-term grant to to establish “safe spaces” in public schools across America days after the group’s founder left the Obama administration. The Division of Adolescent and School Health of the U.S. government’s Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has awarded a five-year, $285,000 a year grant to the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network ( GLSEN ), the gay rights group  announced  in June as reported by World Net Daily . GLSEN’s founder is former Obama administration “Safe Schools” Czar Kevin Jennings , who resigned only days before the announced grant to head Be the Change, another national gay rights initiative. Jennings came under major fire from conservative groups and lawmakers for his  participation  in GLSEN’s lewd youth programs, including explanations of dangerous homosexual sex acts such as “fisting.” GLSEN in April was involved in a Facebook scandal involving its homosexual school clubs,

Gay activist 16-yr-old says Ontario Bishops’ approval of gay clubs encouraged her activism

Image
Image via Wikipedia Leanne Iskander, a 16-year-old student at a Catholic high school , has been made the poster-teen for gay-straight alliances in the province’s Catholic schools.  Writing in a Toronto paper Iskander says she was encouraged in her pursuit by the Ontario bishops’ decision in April to allow homosexual “anti-bullying” clubs. “The bishops’ decision to allow LGBT -specific anti-bullying groups was a huge step that I really wasn’t expecting,” 16-year-old Leanne Iskander  wrote in the Torontoist  on Saturday.  “I think it has encouraged me to keep fighting for a GSA . I’m pretty optimistic that we will eventually get there.” “I think the most surprising thing I’ve learned from the experience was that even a system as strong as the Catholic school system will eventually bend to meet the needs of the students if there’s enough pressure,” she added. Iskander has become the newest face of youth activism for Canada’s homosexual lobby in recent months, with her campaign gettin

Do Gay-Straight Alliances cause cancer?

Image
Image via Wikipedia Those engaged in the fight against cancer are always looking for risk factors – behaviors which make one person more likely to have cancer than another.  A study published in May, 2011 in the journal Cancer, discovered such a risk factor. In a large study, 8.25 percent of men who self-identify as gay were cancer survivors, versus 5.04 percent of men who self identified as heterosexual.[1]  This is a very significant difference and those who reported on it seemed surprised, which is really surprising since such a difference is totally predictable. Gay men are more likely to smoke (a risk for lung cancer), far more likely to contract a sexually transmitted disease, such as human papilloma virus (a risk for anal cancer) or hepatitis (a risk for liver cancer) or HIV/AIDS (a risk for a score of different cancers). They are more likely to begin sexual activity at an earlier age, to abuse drugs and alcohol, to be depressed or suffer from other psychological disorders,
