Switzerland votes to criminalize ‘homophobia’

Image
The Swiss have voted by a large majority to make “homophobia” a criminal offense.  On Sunday, 63.1 percent of the voters who turned out for several popular initiative referendums agreed that “discrimination,” “hate speech” and other forms of public “insults” aimed at homosexuals because of their “sexual orientation” will be punishable by a fine and up to three years’ imprisonment. During the run-up to Sunday’s vote, the Catholic hierarchy in Switzerland was mostly conspicuous by its absence from the debate.  With the new legislation, the aggravating circumstance of a victim's homosexuality will be added to the original 1994 anti-discrimination and hate speech law in Switzerland's penal code that already criminalized discrimination on the basis of race or religion. How it will be applied in practice will be determined by jurisprudence. To date, sanctions for discrimination and hate speech under the original law are usually limited to fines, only rarely moving up the scale

Gay activists sue Swiss Catholic bishop for inciting violence after he quotes Bible

August 11, 2015 -- A homosexual activist group called Pink Cross, the umbrella organization of Swiss male homosexuals , has announced that it will file a lawsuit against Bishop Vitus Huonder of Chur, Switzerland . The organization claims that Huonder had publicly called for crimes against homosexuals by quoting the Book of Leviticus at a recent conference in Fulda, Germany . Bishop Huonder had given this talk on July 31 at a conservative Catholic conference organized by a lay organization, Forum Deutscher Katholiken, that is opposed to the proposals to change and liberalize the Catholic Church's moral teaching on marriage and the family. The conference, “Rejoicing in the Faith” (Freude am Glauben), published a  communiqué  in which it asks the pope and Synod Fathers to “find answers taken from the sources of knowledge of the Holy Scripture and the Church's Tradition which fill today's life reality of the faithful with new Christian spirit.” The conference com

Will Christine Forster help Tony Abbott lose the Australian election?

English: Tony Abbott in 2010. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Mr Croome a homosexual advocate said he has no plans to approach Mr Abbott's openly-gay sister, Christine Forster, who has publicly disagreed with her brother's stance. The question remains; in the minds of conservative voters, will Christine Forster be the person that helps Tony Abbott lose the election?  Homosexuals advocates intend to leaflet seats including Brisbane , Perth , Wills and Batman , identifying which candidates support their (immoral, in your face, otherwise you're a bigot hater) reform.  Rodney Croome  states polls consistently put support for the reform at 65 per cent across the country.  However, when compared to Switzerland supporting Islamic minuets which also polled very high but failed at referendum miserably, shows that people completing polls are intimidated by the Homosexual lobby even when answering polling questions, or even speaking out publicly against the sin of homo

If Homosexuality is legal why not incest?

Image
Image via Wikipedia The attorney for David Epstein , a Colombia university professor charged with incest with his adult daughter, is defending sex between family members by appealing to homosexual “rights” as a precedent. Epstein’s lawyer, Matthew Galluzzo, told ABC News that “It’s OK for homosexuals to do whatever they want in their own home. How is this so different? We have to figure out why some behavior is tolerated and some is not.” “What goes on between consenting adults in private should not be legislated. That is not the proper domain of our law,” Galluzo told the Huffington Post , which publishes Epstein’s articles. “If we assume for a moment that both parties are consenting, then why are we prosecuting this?” “Academically, we are obviously all morally opposed to incest and rightfully so,” Galluzzo stated in his interview with ABC . “At the same time, there is an argument to be made in the Swiss case to let go what goes on privately in bedrooms.” Galluzzo was refe
