Gay Advocate Dan Savage attack: redefines ‘bullying’

May 8, 2012 ( Breakpoint.org ) - It all began when the National High School Journalism Conference invited a gay rights activist named Dan Savage to speak to students in Seattle about the need to prevent bullying . But it turned out that this was a lesson Savage badly needed to learn himself. To the shock of the students, Savage launched a vicious attack on the Bible and Christian beliefs . As he put it, “We can learn to ignore the BS in the Bible about gay people.” Of course he didn’t say BS. As Savage continued his attack, some students broke into tears. Dozens of offended students walked out of the auditorium. As they left, Savage heckled them with vulgar words I can’t repeat. It became very hostile toward Christianity.” Savage later apologized for using vulgarity to des

Is It Possible for Homosexuals to Change?

He had been high for four days and his "buzz" suddenly evaporated as he heard a voice in his head say, "You don't have to live like this." He knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was God offering him a way out. He put down his Gay Pride sign, left the parade, sat down in a nearby stairwell, and repented of his rebellion. As he spent more and more time "escaping" the

As strange as that argument might sound, it is actually a powerful weapon in the hands of those who are determined to normalize homosexuality and same-sex marriage within the Church.  Those pushing for the acceptance of homosexuality now argue that Christians opposed to that agenda are “clobbering” sinners with the biblical text. There seems to be no authoritative original source for this very powerful rhetorical innovation, but it has become increasingly popular in recent years, and it is deployed as a way of subverting the Bible’s condemnation of same-gender sexuality. In his new book,  Fall to Grace , Jay Bakker presents a classic form of this argument. Bakker, the son of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, is now co-pastor of Revolution Church in New York City — a congregation described by  New York  magazine as “a church that is still figuring out its message.” Well, it may be trying to figure out its message on
