A homosexual student group at Goldsmiths, University of London, is under fire for a series of tweets defending the idea of sending dissenters to “gulags” for forced re-education. The exchange began during a Twitter debate over “trans-exclusionary radical feminists” (TERFs), feminists who refuse to recognize men who “identify” as female to be "women." The oldest Methodist chapel in the world is about to be the site of an LGBT “celebration,” in direct contradiction of Scripture and the chapel’s own founder. On Saturday, the pro-homosexual group Christians At Bristol Pride will hold a “Service of Celebration” at The New Room in John Wesley’s Chapel in London, Christian Concern reports . The chapel was built in 1778 under the direction of English theologian John Wesley, the founder of Methodism. The pro-gay group says the event will be “an affirming service with songs, prayers and symbolic actions,” after which attendees will be invited to attend the LGBT “pride” march in Bristol town centre. Christians at Bristol Pride have also printed materials bearing the message “God affirms you” for homosexuals. “It's true that all people, made in God's image, have inherent dignity – and that all who turn to Jesus are welcomed – but the message 'God affirms you' leaves out the need to turn away from what is wrong in God'

When the practice of sex-change surgery first emerged back in the early 1970s, I would often remind its advocating psychiatrists that with other patients, alcoholics in particular, they would quote the Serenity Prayer , “God, give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” Where did they get the idea that our sexual identity (“gender” was the term they preferred) as men or women was in the category of things that could be changed? Here is the Church of England statement, regarding the sin of homosexuality: "There are very many Christian counsellors and spiritual directors, as well as vicars and lay pastoral workers, who meet regularly with Christians with same-sex attraction .  They do so because the person has come to them, and because they want to explore their sexual desires within the framework of the Bible and Christian discipleship . They are looking for pastoral and Godly help to enable them to live full, Christian lives, within the natural order which God created ." The confused immoral biblically illiterate Church of England looks set to condemn controversial "gay cures", after Theresa May suggested they could be banned. The issue will be discussed in a debate at next month's meeting of the Church's governing body. The General Synod will vote on a motion to endorse a statement by secular psychology experts that Christian conversion therapy, which uses methods including prayer and salvation in an attempt to stop people being homosexual, is " unethical , harmful and not supported by evidence".  So this church has decided the sin can't be forgiven!
