A lithe, long-legged dancer performs for the camera, rolling onto her back.  She looks like a pre-teen girl and, surprise, she is one. Twelve-year-old Bracken Hanke is one of the children being interviewed by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for its upcoming documentary for children about children who do drag.  CBC Kids News tweeted a three-minute video yesterday in which the “four stars” of the promised show squirm artistically for the camera and explain what drag means for them.    CBC Kids News @CBCKidsNews What's it like to be a KID # DRAGQUEEN ? @ CBCKidsNews spoke with the four stars of CBC's new # DragKids documentary to find out what # drag is, and why they do it. # lgbtq # queer # kiddragqueen @ cbcdocs 458 2:38 AM - Jul 5, 2019 3,467 people are talking about this Twitter Ads info and privacy The tax-funded broadcaster presented the short promo with the statement: “What

Canada’s state broadcaster hosts anti-Christian gay activist Dan Savage as sex-ed expert

Warning: This report contains explicit content not suitable for children TORONTO– Canada’s publicly funded broadcaster is using notoriously anti-Christian American homosexual activist Dan Savage as an expert on sex education. CBC gave Savage ten minutes on its flagship radio call-in program to extol the alleged benefits of the sex-ed curriculum former Liberal Premier Kathleen Wynne rolled out in Ontario in 2015 despite the massive parental backlash. Unsurprisingly, Savage opined on Cross Country Checkup Sunday that Conservative Premier Doug Ford scrapping that sex-ed program by September was a “serious mistake” that puts children “in danger.” CBC described Savage as “podcaster and author have best known for his internationally syndicated sex and relationship advice column, Savage Love,” in an article promoting the show. Savage’s “biggest concerns include anti-gay bullying and the fact that queer students will not be acknowledged in sex-ed programs,” it reported. But C

The pro-family, pro-life conservative organization REAL Women of Canada is calling a CBC report “absolutely not” accurate that quoted president Gwen Landolt as if she tacitly approved Uganda ’s contemplation of the death penalty for practicing homosexuals. “I don’t know if the CBC did this deliberately or whether it was accidental and they misunderstood [my position],” said Landolt to LifeSiteNews.com. “My whole life I have been utterly opposed to capital punishment and I would never make homosexual execution the exception.” Landolt stated that REAL Women would “never support the death penalty in any circumstance.” “I would never ever in a hundred years say the execution of people is suitable and appropriate. Never,” she said. LifeSiteNews.com (LSN) contacted the CBC journalist who wrote the story, [name], but never received a response. Last week REAL Women  criticized   Minister of Foreign Affairs John Baird , a practicing homosexual, for imposing what it called “

‘Truth about homosexuality’ pamphleteer sues CBC over ‘kill the homosexual’ flyer

WEYBURN, Saskatchewan July 3, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – A pamphleteer who is seeking to expose what he says is the truth about homosexuality has launched a libel suit against the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation ( CBC ). Bill Whatcott claims the national broadcaster misrepresented him in an October news report about the Supreme Court hearings into his battle with the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission. The statement of claim filed on June 22 by Mr. Whatcott’s lawyer, Tom Schuck, states that in the news segment the CBC showed a pamphlet that had nothing to do with the case which was before the Supreme Court, but contained the words “Kill the Homosexual ,” thereby suggesting that Whatcott advocated murder of homosexual people. “The flyer with the words ‘Kill the homosexual’ was not one of the three flyers in question in the Supreme Court of Canada ,” the statement of claim explains.
