Would you permit these men to adopt a child? The Texas House of Representatives has become the latest state legislative body to pass a bill allowing adoption and foster care agencies to prevent homosexuals from adopting children and influencing them with their homosexual lifestyle.  Known as the “ Freedom to Serve Children Act ,” Texas House Bill 3859 allows state-funded child welfare agencies in that state to prevent homosexuals being unbalanced family units (all male) on the basis of reason and faith. The legislation, penned by Republican Rep. James Frank, prevents the state from taking “adverse action” against any service provider that acts in accordance with its ,“sincerely held religious beliefs.” The measure passed the House Wednesday afternoon by a vote of 93 to 49 after debate continued long into the night Tuesday. Former prime minister John Howard thinks the attack on Qantas CEO Alan Joyce with a lemon meringue pie as a protest against same sex marriage was appalling but he is sympathetic to the views of the man responsible. Tony Overheu, a 67-year-old Perth man, says he hid behind a stage for two hours before strolling up to Mr Joyce and shoving the pie in his face during a speech in front of more than 500 people at a business breakfast hosted by The West Australian newspaper on Tuesday. He was arrested and charged for expressing an Australia wide view that a CEO who is homosexual should not be using a worldwide brand like QANTAS to further his own personal immoral homosexual agenda onto all Australians, QANTAS staff, employees and shareholders. Liberal comedienne and talk show host Rosie O'Donnell gave the audience at a homosexual awards banquet her assessment of the last U.S. presidential election: " Satan won." O'Donnell, who with her lesbian partner has adopted children , addressed the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards on Saturday. She admitted to having a " major depressive disorder " but didn't link that to her public hatred for the new president. Instead, she congratulated herself for enduring the new Trump administration.  "I’m still vertical after Satan won. That to me is a major accomplishment for someone who suffers from major depressive disorder," she  said . Canada Post is releasing a “gay marriage” stamp as part of Canada ’s 150th anniversary celebrations. The stamp is in the shape of a Maple Leaf with a rainbow flag and marks the 2005 Civil Marriage Act , passed under Liberal Prime Minister Paul Martin . Canada Post’s  website  describes the event: On July 20, 2005, Canada became the fourth country in the world to pass federal legislation that gave all citizens the right to marry the one they love. The stamp depicts a section of a rainbow flag, which is a familiar symbol of pride for the LGBTQ2S (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Two Spirit) community. Such economy of words, so many lies packed into one phrase: “the right to marry the one they love.” The stamp is the fourth of a series of 10 that supposedly commemorate key moments in Canada’s history since in 1867. Chick-Fil-A's signature chicken sandwich (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Jesuit-run  Fordham University  has buckled to protests led by an LGBTQ student group and will not allow Chick-fil-A to do business at a campus eatery due to past comments by the chicken fast-food company’s CEO supporting natural marriage. Even though representatives of the Christian-oriented Chick-fil-A reportedly went so far as to offer to partner with homosexual student group “Rainbow Alliance” to help them get established on the Catholic college campus, they were rejected. “Following pushback from clubs and independent students over LGBTQ issues and menu offerings, the university has opted to decline an Aramark proposal to install a Chick-fil-A in the Ram Café,” reported the  Fordham Observer . My Twitter feed has exploded in recent weeks, with plentiful panic about the pitiable state of free speech on college campuses. Big cases—big because they both worsen and reveal the deep structural wounds caused by the purge of Christian and conservative professors—played out this week:  John McAdams ,  Anthony Esolen ,  Rebecca Tuvel ,  Paul McHugh ,  Carol Swain ,  Keith Fink , and  Paul Griffiths . The left became horrendous because the left was wrong. Their prescriptions about improving race relations did not work because they were wrong. They were wrong about homosexuality and now we see the falsehoods of the LGBT movement growing more arrogant and multiplying as people who were celebrated for their errors now see further false affirmations as their entitlement, and Truth as an attack on their fragile sense of self.
