Australia's Governor-General inappropriately supports immoral homosexual marriage

Image
Quentin Bryce notably ended her Boyer Lectures by expressing her long-term aspiration that Australia might become a nation where ''people are free to love and marry whom they choose.  She expressed a personal opinion, that was untimely and inappropriate in that she knew very well that homosexual marriage legislation was being forced through ACT Parliament and the High Court by only 9 people namely Greens and Labor. Her son in law is the Labor national leader of the opposition.  She should resign immediately for stepping outside of her defined roles and seeking to bring influence to a debate that is very destructive to the backbone of our nation.  Her aspirations were reported as putting her at odds with her Prime Minister in supporting both same-sex marriage and a republic, though Tony Abbott agreed that it was appropriate that Bryce should express her personal views in a graceful style as she came near to the end of her term of office. She was, of course, a

Immoral Homosexual Marriage defeated in NSW

English: Barry O'Farrell at the NSW Country Liberals Annual Conference in Wagga Wagga (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The upper house of the NSW Parliament has voted down a bill to legalise immoral same-sex marriage. Despite the talk that the upper house would pass the legislation, MPs voted against it in strength in Legislative Council on Thursday afternoon. The point is this is the 11th attempt by various individuals and extreme parties to push through and legalize immoral homosexual marriage and each time common sense and morality has succeeded. Independent MP Alex Greenwich, who devised this immoral bill, should realize the civil unions and not marriage should be his goal instead of trying to force his immoral values upon the entire nation. Mr Greenwich, who is the member for Sydney in the lower house and therefore did not participate in the vote, said it was the first time Coalition MPs had voted in a same sex marriage bill in Australia. This is because Mr O'Farrel ha

NSW and immoral homosexual agenda

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) A NSW Liberal politician who supports gay marriage but out of sync with Federal Liberal policies, has said he is ''grateful'' to Premier Barry O'Farrell for setting up an inquiry that yesterday incorrectly cleared the way for NSW to introduce a bill to legalise immoral homosexual. Liberal member for Coogee, Bruce Notley-Smith  then tried to claim that this was democracy and not a minor group seeking to impose its immorality on the rest of the nation. NSW could become the first Australian state to legalise immorality and force homosexual marriage. A group of MPs from across the left and immoral Green spectrum have redrafted a Same Sex Marriage Bill that will be introduced in the upper house of the NSW parliament in the next session. Mr O'Farrell has promised a conscience vote on the issue, and is the first Liberal leader to do so and most likely will regret doing so. '

Not to be left behind going down the moral sewer, Homosexual Mari Gras Sydney wants to follow  a vote to make gay marriage legal in New Zealand . Mr O'Farrell says same-sex marriage is "about family ". He also told the newspaper that if a parliamentary inquiry in New South Wales found the state could act alone, he would vote for legislation that might be introduced. Unfortunately, O'Farrell simplistic concept of marriage is lacking any moral or biological logic. The marriage Act governs Australia. Some politicans think they are bigger than the whole country and can dictate to everybody.  O'Farrell appears to be not telling the truth regarding healthy families? he also seems to be freely defining what constitutes a family. Who gave hiom this authority?

Australian federal parliament resoundingly defeats same-sex ‘marriage’ bill

CANBERRA, September 19, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - Australia ’s federal parliament has overwhelmingly voted down a bill that proposed to institute “gay marriage” throughout the country. The bill was resoundingly shut down in a vote of 98 to 42, but observers pointed out that the last vote had only 6 in favour. The movement of public opinion is also towards national legalisation, with a poll last year showing 64 per cent of 270,000 responses in favour of a change. The bill was tabled by Labour MP Stephen Jones who urged activists to “maintain your rage.” The bill did not receive unanimous support from the homosexual community. Homosexual Senator, Dean Smith voted against it, calling his vote “an honest acknowledgement of the special and unique characteristics of the union described as marriage.” Activists have shrugged off the defeat of the national bill, however, saying they have higher hopes for legislation at the state level. They are particularly looking towards Tasmania w

NSW churches urge Premier to rule out gay marriage laws

Flag of Tasmania (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The NSW Council of Churches has urged Premier Barry O’Farrell to assure voters that he will not introduce a same-sex marriage bill in the NSW Parliament . The Council also sought confirmation from the Premier that, should a same-sex marriage bill be introduced by a private member or another political party, the bill would not be given priority and Coalition members would not be given a conscience vote. The move comes after Tasmanian Premier Lara Giddings announced on Sunday that her government would pursue legislative reform to allow same-sex marriage in Tasmania . NSW Council of Churches President, Revd Dr Ross Clifford , said such a move would undermine longstanding Australian cultural and heritage values, and lead to chaos and confusion with respect to the recognition of marriage across state borders. “The Tasmanian plan indicates that a federal same-sex marriage bill is expected to fail due to lack of public support for such radic
