Adult children of gay parents testify against same-sex ‘marriage’ at 5th Circuit

Image
As the 5 th  Circuit Court of Appeals considers whether to strike down laws in three states banning same-sex “ marriage ,” four adult children of homosexual parents have filed court briefings arguing that government-sanctioned homosexual unions could lead to disaster for thousands of kids. Katy Faust, Dawn Stefanowicz, B.N. Klein, and Robert Oscar Lopez, who were all raised by homosexual parents, each submitted briefs to the 5 th  Circuit opposing the legalization of same-sex “marriage.”  Recounting childhood memories of households made deeply dysfunctional by their parents’ sexual appetites and the radical subculture that went along with their “gay” identities, all four argued that redefining marriage to include homosexual couples will likely lead to the exploitation and abuse of countless children for political and personal gain. “I grew up with a parent and her partner[s] in an atmosphere in which gay ideology was used as a tool of repression, retribution and abuse,”  wrote

Fox News’ Bret Baier, actor Gary Sinise cancel on Church group after gay gripes

Image
FOX News Channel 's chief political anchor, Bret Baier , has shown himself to have a thinner skin than might be guessed from his on-air persona.  Baier has caved in to pressure from the homosexual activist group ‘Good as You’ to back out of a speaking engagement at a mainstream Catholic conference.  Also backing out for the same reason was Hollywood actor Gary Sinise of  Forrest Gump  and  CSI: NY  fame. The gay activist complaint is a repeat of last year when actor Bob Newhart was successfully bullied into backing out of his speaking engagement at the Legatus Summit. Legatus, which was begun by Domino’s Pizza founder Tom Monaghan in 1987 to network Catholic business leaders, is faithful to the Church’s Magisterium and therefore upholds the Church’s teachings on all moral matters including homosexuality. The Catechism of the Catholic Church sees all people regardless of their sexual desires as children of God and deserving of respect.  The Church however teaches that t

UK Prime Minister: ‘Redefining marriage is one of my proudest moments’

British Prime Minister David Cameron told a town hall meeting near Liverpool on the weekend that making same-sex "marriage" legal in Britain and Wales was one of his "proudest" accomplishments. When asked what he thought were his most significant achievements, he rated improving the UK economy as something he would "treasure," but that passage of the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill was his personally proudest moment. “I did get a lot of letters from men who said, because of the changes you made, I have been able to marry the person I love. That was great,” Cameron said, according to a report by homosexual news service Pink News . He said that he has gotten "lots" of invitations to same-sex weddings but has yet to accept any. "I haven’t been to one yet," he said, adding, "I’m sure I will soon.” While Cameron has been unequivocal in his support for homosexualism, his stand has not been without consequence for his polit

Hundreds rally behind sacked Atlanta Fire Chief, gay activists praise mayor

Image
Supporters of now-former Atlanta Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran, who was fired last week over his Christian beliefs , rallied at the Georgia State Capitol Monday, while homosexual activists are praising the controversial firing, and some are warning about the case’s implications for religious freedom . Hundreds of Christians and faith leaders held a January 12  rally  to support Cochran and religious freedom legislation currently under consideration in the Georgia House. The gathering started out at the Georgia State Capitol before participants marched to Atlanta’s City Hall to present 28,000 signatures to the mayor’s office in support of the bill. Cochran was fired  by Mayor Kasim Reed January 6 after a  30-day suspension stemming from Cochran’s authoring a Bible study for men that discussed the Christian definition of sexual purity in two segments of the 160-page book. The brief passages touch on homosexuality along with other things, and their frankness upset homosexual supporte

MLK: Homosexuality is a ‘problem’ with a ‘solution’

Image
Today America honors both the life and noble work of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. , a Bible-believing Christian minister who did more to advance the cause of race-based civil rights than perhaps any other person in recent history. Regrettably – and as they do each year – the same flock of opportunist “ LGBT ”-activist vultures will quickly  swoop in , and pick the live flesh from MLK ’s character-based “dream,” to advance their own behavior-based nightmare. In what amounts to a sort of soft racism, this mostly white left-wing faction has, over the years, disingenuously and ignobly hitched its little pink wagon to a civil rights movement that, by contrast, is built upon the genuine and noble precepts of racial equality and humanitarian justice. What was MLK’s position on the homosexual lifestyle and so-called “gay rights”? While he said little in public on the issue, what he did say made his viewpoint abundantly clear. Unlike the “LGBT” lobby, I’ll let Dr. King speak for h
