LGB caused it

Image
It is increasingly common for well-known LGB leaders to separate themselves from today’s ever-increasing transanity. The tennis great Martina Navratilova, herself an out and proud lesbian, has spoken forcefully against biological males competing against females. And the influential gay blogger Andrew Sullivan recently devoted a lengthy piece to this subject titled “The Queers Versus the Homosexuals.” These are just two examples among many. But, as I pointed out previously (in response to Sullivan’s essay), you cannot separate the T and the Q from the LGB, especially when it comes to indoctrinating and confusing children. This has long been an essential part of the educational curriculum pushed in schools by groups like GLSEN (the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network). Sullivan, recounting the history of LGBTQ activism, wrote,  “Then the queers upped the ante and did something we gays never did: they targeted children. If they could get into kids’ minds, bodies, and souls from the v

Landmark Study Shows Trauma Treatment Significantly Alters Sexual Attraction

Image
Surprising results challenge our assumptions about how fluid sexual attractions are.  A new large-scale, peer-reviewed study in the Journal of Human Sexuality demonstrates that sexual attraction fluidity exploration in therapy significantly decreases unwanted sexual behaviors while improving psychological well-being. Researchers examined 75 adult males who reported same-sex attractions and wished to explore their sexual attraction fluidity. Participants worked with certified therapists using Reintegrative Therapy, a treatment method that seeks to identify and resolve past traumatic memories. “Actively attempting to change one’s sexuality might interfere with this process. Instead, we encourage clients to resolve memories they identify as being traumatic. As we support them through this journey, we let whatever happens naturally happen,” said Dr. Joseph Nicolosi Jr., a licensed clinical psychologist and founder of the Reintegrative Therapy Association, a nonprofit scientific organizatio

Can You Stand for Truth Without Being Offensive?

Image
I often speak on controversial subjects: homosexuality and transgenderism. These aren’t topics that are casually brought up over Christmas dinner and calmly discussed with out-of-town family. That’s why believers often ask me how they can stand for truth on controversial topics without being offensive. Here are three quick things I tell them. Grace First, I’m grateful for their concern to avoid being crass and offensive. I see too many believers who don’t care at all — or at least appear to not care. They use the truth like a club to beat people over the head. Grace? What grace? That’s for Christ to extend to non-believers, they say. But believers should do whatever they can to communicate the truth in a winsome and gracious way. Scripture identifies them as ambassadors for Christ (2 Cor. 5:20). That means they represent Jesus with their life. How they come across to other people will be a reflection upon the good name of Jesus. Believers, therefore, should strive to speak in a warm, f

Are Transgender People Fixing God’s Mistakes?

Image
God isn’t perfect. According to a tweet by a “transgender ally,” sometimes He makes mistakes we can fix. Listen to what she wrote: God made you a brunette, yet you are now a blonde. God gave you bad vision, yet you fixed it with glasses. God gave you crooked teeth, yet you straightened them with braces. Trans people change the outside to match the inside just like you do. Sit down. Jesus said to. Allegedly, God could have given you the wrong body, and fixing that mistake is just like getting glasses or braces. This thinking, however, is misguided for at least four reasons. God Doesn’t Make Mistakes First, it presumes God makes mistakes . Not everything that exists was intentionally made that way by our Creator. Genesis explains that God made all things good. What Scripture also teaches, though, is that creation became tainted by sin, and God’s perfect design was broken. Babies are born with missing limbs, impaired immune systems, or Down syndrome. That’s not God’s intent, however. Huma

Why Do 1 In 6 Gen Z Adults Identify As LGBT?

Image
One of the early gay activist talking points was that 1 in 10 people were gay, even though the activists knew this was not true. That’s why it was significant when, in 2011, demographer Gary Gates, himself gay, “released a review of population-based surveys on the topic, estimating that 3.5% of adults in the United States identify as lesbian, gay, or bisexual, with bisexuals making up a slight majority of that figure.” Other surveys came to similar conclusions, and even as recently as 2017, a Gallup poll put the total percentage of Americans who identify as LGBT at 4.5%. The newest Gallup poll, however, puts that number at 5.6%. More strikingly, the poll indicates that 1 out of every 6 generation Z adults (meaning over 16% of those aged 18-23) identifies as LGBT. How can this be? Additionally, “More than half of LGBT adults (54.6%) identify as bisexual. About a quarter (24.5%) say they are gay, with 11.7% identifying as lesbian and 11.3% as transgender. An additional 3.3% volunteer ano

Have We Surrendered the Freedom To Think What We Think?

Image
Does she look at all like a man to you? Do you have permission to ask yourself that question? Dr. Rachel Levine is Joe Biden’s nominee for assistant secretary of health. Her position is of no matter at the moment, other than the fact that her photo is so much in the news; and neither is her gender, not in this discussion at any rate. My question is what you are allowed to think when you see her. We do not normally use trans persons’ changed/acquired pronouns at The Stream, but I’m making an exception this time, for several reasons. For one, I want to make sure there’s no doubt what I’m focusing on here: Not her gender, but what we have permission to think. Questions of Suffering, a Question of Freedom And I’m also going to ask questions here that may make Dr. Levine unhappy, and I have no need or desire to do so more than necessary. I do not presume to know her experience, but I do know the transgender condition can be painful, even cruel. A cousin of mine transitioned from his male pe

Anger, errors and tensions at the Supreme Court during fake LGBTQ rights case

Image
SCHOOLYARD FIGHT - JUSTICES FAIL THE PEOPLE WITH WISDOM When the Supreme Court extended the 1964 Civil Rights Act to gay and lesbian workers in a June ruling, the justices also protected transgender employees but made it open season on all religious people, religious bodies, and any individual who don't bow to LGBT tyranny. They made a grave error and betrayed common sense by bowing to the extreme voices and pressure of LGBT zealots who are also some Supreme justices.  THE ERRORS MADE WILL ENFLAME LGBT ZEALOTS But the case did not start out that way. In their private conference room in October with only the nine and no law clerks, the justices debated whether and how to provide the same anti-bias coverage for 1 million transgender workers, according to multiple sources familiar with the inner workings of the court. THE ERRORS MADE WILL BURN RELIGIOUS FREEDOMS Some justices raised concerns related to religious interests and shared bathrooms, the sources said. But even

JK Rowling warns the loss of free speech after trans LGBTQ+ abuse

Author JK Rowling has joined 150 high-profile figures on an open letter claiming that free speech is under threat due to an "intolerance of opposing views", after coming under attack for her comments about transgender issues. Key points: US feminist Gloria Steinem and Margaret Atwood joined Rowling in signing the letter It cautioned that debate was being weakened amongst a 'vogue for public shaming and ostracism' Rowling has come under attack as expected by LGBTQ+ zealots. The Harry Potter writer, says only women menstruate, joined 550 academics, artists, and writers who signed the letter condemning the fashionable trans movement as nonsense, against biology and is a mental health issue.  Other signatories on the 530-word letter published in Harper's magazine included US feminist Gloria Steinem, author Margaret Atwood and linguist and activist Noam Chomsky. In 'A Letter on Justice and Open Debate', they welcomed protests for racial and so

Trans Court Madness

Staunch conservatives have slammed yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling in Bostock v. Clayton County, which redefined the term “sex” in the 1964 Civil Rights Act to mean not simply “male” and “female” as biological facts, but also “sexual orientation” and “gender identity.” Josh Hammer of First Liberty Institute called the decision by six justices, including Trump nominee Neil Gorsuch, the “Roe v. Wade of religious liberty.” “Bostock is no joke, and it lays bare the moral and intellectual bankruptcy of the conservative legal movement,” he added. Hammer demanded, “a more forceful conservative legal movement, just as willing as the left to make moral arguments in court, based on principles of justice, natural law (the rules embedded in our very nature as human beings), the common good and the religious and moral traditions underlying Anglo-American constitutional order.” Speaking of Gorsuch’s majority opinion, he said it did not at all qualify as textualism, a legal philosophy
