The unfortunate cleric is Catholic Archbishop of Hobart Julian Porteous, who has raised the ire of Australian Marriage Equality director Rodney Croome , a native of that island. It is no mystery that the archbishop — and every other bishop of the Catholic Church up to Pope Francis himself — is, and always will be, opposed to gay marriage. T

Few people doubt that New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie hopes to become president in 2016. Unfortunately for him, he may have just signed away any chance of that. On Monday, Christie signed A3371, a draconian piece of legislation that bars licensed therapists from helping children overcome unwanted same-sex attractions , behavior or identity. This law bans help for minors even when – as is so often the case – those same-sex attractions arise from childhood sexual abuse by the likes of a Jerry Sandusky . This law will prohibit minors and their parents from receiving counseling they desire and will force counselors to violate ethical codes because they will not be able to help clients reach their own counseling goals. This law would enslave children – whether abused or not – to a subjectively determined sexual identity that they reject. The connection between homosexual abuse and “gay identity” is undeniable. CALGARY, Alberta , August 10, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – A 13-year-old boy is awaiting sentencing in Calgary after pleading guilty to raping a four-year-old boy in his foster home . The teen, identified as T, told police after his arrest on Jan. 3rd that the idea for the assaults, which occurred over the course of a year, came from watching “gay porn” on his foster parents’ home computer. T’s assaults were discovered when he was caught in the midst of an attack by a neighbor who could see in the bedroom window from his office next door. The neighbour called 911, and when police arrived fifteen minutes later he pointed them to the window where the assault was still in progress. The neighbor said the light in the bedroom went out as soon as the police knocked on the front door. T answered and admitted to the assault. The gay fathers of a six-year-old Australian boy have been arrested in Los Angeles after being indicted on child sexual exploitation charges relating to their own son. The men, a US citizen and resident of Queensland in his 40s, and his partner, an Australian citizen in his 30s from north Queensland, were arrested in a 6am raid at a house in Los Angeles, on Thursday morning. A third man, a lawyer from Florida , has also been arrested and indicted, and is named as the lead defendant . He is further charged with procuring a boy aged between eight or nine for sexual exploitation. The indictment alleges the gay couple’s son was induced and coerced by all three defendants to appear in sexually explicit images and videos , either by himself or with the lead defendant. All men are charged with counts of conspiracy to sexually exploit a child and the sexual exploitation of a child.
