A women’s rights group is considering legal action against Scottish government guidance which recognizes gender-confused men as women.  For Women Scotland says that it’s considering seeking a judicial review after the Scottish government released statutory guidance in June changing the definition of “woman” for the purposes of the Gender Representation on Public Boards Act 2018.  The statutory guidance states that men who are either planning to or have begun so-called “gender-reassignment” processes and who are “continuously living as a woman” will be considered women for the purposes of the Act. “This would not require the person to dress, look or behave in any particular way,” the guidance says.  “However, it would be expected that there would be evidence that the person was continuously living as a woman, such as – always using female pronouns; using a female name on official documents such as a driving licence or passport, or on utility bills or bank accounts; using

Church leaders in Scotland have written to Glasgow City Council calling for an immediate reversal of the decision to cancel the booking of Franklin Graham at the city's SEC arena. Despite contracts being signed, the Council urged the venue to reconsider, claiming the US evangelist's appearance would cause division. The opposition is linked to previous comments he had made about homosexuality.  The cancellation was one of eight arenas who told Graham that he was no longer welcome.  The evangelist subsequently launched legal action to get the decision overturned. British Catholic officials criticized an "offensive" BBC video on LGBT tolerance that says Holy Communion “tastes like cardboard” and “smells like hate.” BBC The Social, a social media outlet aimed at young adults managed by BBC Scotland ,  posted  a video titled “Time for Love” on April 9 on Facebook and YouTube . The video dramatizes a young man’s response to his feeling restrained from kissing his male partner in a public park because of others’ views on same-sex relationships. It gives an unflattering portrayal of those in the park who react negatively toward the couple. Christian evangelist was accused of a hate crime and locked up in a cell after preaching from the Bible to a gay teenager. Gordon Larmour, 42, was charged by police after telling the story of Adam and Eve to a 19-year-old who asked him about God ’s views on homosexuality . Scottish police and homosexual advocacy groups are combining to train 60 officers as LGBT - hate crime specialists in an apparent effort to increase the number of hate crimes reported.  The move has raised concerns over the possible criminalization of any criticism of homosexuality. EDINBURGH,  – While Scottish government draft guidelines currently allow teachers with moral objections to opt-out of certain aspects of the country’s new sex-ed curriculum, several National Health Service boards have objected to the opt-out clause. They are also objecting to provisions allowing parents to opt their children out of the classes. Currently, the guidelines require teachers who have a moral objection to things like teaching about gay “marriage” to opt out, if alternative arrangements are made "where possible." DUNDEE, Scotland,  – Tony Miano, an American evangelical street preacher and former policeman, must be getting used to being arrested for his beliefs in Britain. Miano was arrested January 8 th , in Dundee, Scotland , and remanded in custody to appear before Dundee Sheriff Court the next day. Charged with a public order offence and held for nearly 30 hours, Miano was allowed to return to the US on the condition that he returns to the court in April. A spokesman for the legal advocacy group Christian Concern told LifeSiteNews.com that the situation of street preachers being arrested is getting out of hand, with police making what are, essentially, arbitrary arrests.
