Australia: Bigotry and hatred has already started - but by whom?

Image
If you disagree with me over lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex politics, you are a homophobe . Disagree with my position on Islam, you are an Islamophobe. If you disagree with me on immigration, you are a xenophobe. Rather than engaging in debate, too many on the Left would rather portray disagreement on totemic issues as grounds for a mental disorder with the sole aim of shutting down any challenge to leftist orthodoxy. The same politics of deriding deplorables is endemic in Australia , especially in the same-sex marriage debate. The Greens and LGBTI activists claim that allowing Australians to decide whether marriage should be redefined would fuel harmful hate speech from same-sex marriage opponents.  Worse, the leaders of Australia’s alternative government succumbed to the lowest of low-rent politics. A plebiscite would lead to suicides, Bill Shorten said. Deputy leader Tanya Plibersek used a young boy named Eddie, the son of a same-sex couple, for politic

Faulty slavery argument on Homosexual Marriage

Image
Image via  Wikipedia No more divisive issue faces the churches of this country today than the question of marriage and  homosexuals .  Like the issue of slavery a century ago, it has the potential for splitting entire denominations. And like the issue of slavery, the argument revolves around the interpretation of Scripture.   What does the Bible say about homosexuality, and how do homosexuals reinterpret these verses? First let's look at how homosexual churches twist bible verses.  The Metropolitan Community Church (Homosexual church argues that w begin by excluding all references to Sodom in the Old and  New Testaments , since the sin of the Sodomites was homosexual rape, carried out by  heterosexuals  intent on humiliating strangers by treating them “like women,” thus demasculinizing them. They also argue that this is the case in a similar account in Judges 19-21. Their brutal gang-rape has nothing to do with the problem of whether genuine love expressed between cons

Why should the homosexual agenda influence Labor?

Image
English: Kevin Rudd, 26th Prime Minister of Australia. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) ABC reports: ACT Deputy Chief Minister Andrew Barr is urging federal Labor's new leadership team to make same-sex marriage an election issue. Former prime minister Julia Gillard opposed marriage equality, but Kevin Rudd , his deputy Anthony Albanese , and Senate leader Penny Wong have spoken out in favour of change. Mr Barr supports of homosexual rights and claims it is an issue that resonates in the community. The question is there are many even in Parliament who disagree. Young people influenced by Will & Grace and other Hollywood show support homosexuality because they see the nice side of the propaganda. Rarely do they see the act, AIDS, the promiscuity, the immorality and short lived lust filled relationships. "It's a clear point of differentiation between Prime Minister Rudd and the Opposition," Barr said. "It represents an opportunity on an issue that certainly is

Kevin Rudd who claims to be a Christian support immoral homosexual marriage?

Image
English: Kevin Rudd, 26th Prime Minister of Australia. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Kevin Rudd has endorsed immoral homosexual marriage, changing his position from supporting the Biblical view to supporting an immoral view.  ''The secular Australian state should be able to recognise same sex marriage,'' Mr Rudd wrote in a blog post on Monday night. ''This change in position has come about as a result of a lot of reflection, over a long period of time, including conversations with good people grappling with deep questions of life, sexuality and faith.'' What deep faith questions has this man asked? What biblical revelation has he received apart from the Bible? Has he read his Bible at all? The former Prime Minister, who only last September voted against legalising same sex marriage in a parliamentary vote that lost 98-42, said his change of thinking had been precipitated by a recent conversation with a friend and former colleague, who came out as ga

Greens push immoral Homosexual Marriage

Official photographic portrait of US President Barack Obama (born 4 August 1961; assumed office 20 January 2009) (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Julia Gillard and Tony Abbott are to be placed under renewed pressure to support immoral homosexual marriage rights with the Greens intent on making this hated reform a key election issue. The party also wants to test Mr Abbott's assertion during a 60 Minutes interview last Sunday that he separates his Christian faith from his policy decisions. Greens deputy leader Adam Bandt has secured debating time in the House of Representatives next Monday for his bill establishing equal marriage rights for same-sex couples. The bill aims to remove references to the definition of marriage as being exclusively between a man and a woman but would not require churches to perform same-sex marriages unless they wanted to. A senior Greens strategist revealed the primary aim was to use the election pressure to ''encourage'' Mr Abbott to

Gary Humphries says NO to Gay Marriage

Image
English: Prime Minister of Australia Julia Gillard at a Q & A Session in Rooty Hill, New South Wales (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Senator Gary Humphries is warning that future legislation allowing same-sex marriage could be struck down by the High Court, leaving gay couples devastated. The ACT Liberal says the Gillard government should not act ''irresponsibly'' by allowing gay marriage to become law. ''I think it is particularly dangerous to be proceeding on constitutionally shaky grounds,'' he said last night. Advertisement: Story continues below ''Somebody who has been married in the belief that they are legally entering into an enforceable arrangement only to find a year later or whatever, the High Court strikes down that situation, is an incredibly difficult position. ''It seems to me that the Commonwealth should go to every possible length to avoid that occurring. ''It's utterly irresponsible to potentially pu

Homosexual marriage is just the start for the gay agenda

Below is an article from the SMH. Sarah Hanson Young and others are trying to convinve churches the legalization of homosexuality will not impact churches.  Their line is this, the change in the marriage act will not force Churches to marry homosexuals. All churches in Australia would refuse to do so anyways as it is against their position. That's not the point.  They are changing the marriage act completely. They are relentless and aggressive. They care little of the church and are quite prepared to damage one of Australai leading charitable bodies the Salvation Army simply to achieve their rights. They care little that God ordained marriage as a covenant and gave it to government to manage.  This legislation will bring no change? Truth or deception? However, when you look to the UK , and Canada, you will find that the homosexual agenda is forcing Catholic Schools (Bill 13 Canada) to have anti-bullying club in school.  Essentially these are pro-homosexu

Andrew Wilkie,  (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Archbishop Peter Jensen ... 'not all can be or should be married. PARLIAMENT will once again be embroiled in the issue of gay marriage from today as two private members' bills to legalise such unions are debated in the House of Representatives, with a vote on the bills likely to come after the winter session of Parliament. A report by the House of Representatives social policy and legal affairs committee on the two bills, one from Labor's Stephen Jones and one from the Greens MP Adam Bandt and the independent MP Andrew Wilkie , will also be tabled this morning. The committee's chairman, Labor MP Graham Perrett , said it was the largest committee inquiry ever held, with responses ''pretty strongly in support'' of change. The committee used an online poll to gauge community sentiment, with 276,437 people responding and 64 per cent backing legalisation.  Was anybody aware of this poll, except the hom
