Hepatitis warning for gay men in Victoria - Gay Marriage unhealthy
Sexually active gay men are being warned to watch out for symptoms of hepatitis A, after an outbreak of the highly contagious disease in Victoria and Sydney . This comes as gays try to seek Government approval for gay marriage. There have been four cases of hepatitis A this year in Victoria, believed to be spread by travellers from Europe who have had male-on-male sexual activity, and several similar cases have been reported in Sydney, the Victorian Department of Health said on Wednesday. Victoria's deputy Chief Health Officer Dr Brett Sutton said men who had recently travelled to Sydney, Europe or the USA were at higher risk of infection, and he warned them against having unprotected sex as it could spread the virus. The warning appears to be ignored as most gay men do not want homosexual marriage - if anything they want an open relationship, where though married they can have multiple sexual encounters when desired.
