The tragic madness of gender ideology is on full display at the  New York Times  with the publication of an opinion article by a “trans” man who blithely reveals that that his “sex reassignment” treatments are making him more miserable, and even tempting him to kill himself – but that’s no reason to stop them. In fact, the writer argues, the notion that such operations are justified by the psychological needs of the patients is itself a form of discrimination and oppression. In his  essay , “My New Vagina Won’t Make Me Happy,” a troubled man who calls himself “Andrea Long Chu” informs us that any psychological benefit he might gain from the hole that will be carved between his legs – which is meant to simulate a vagina and which his body will interpret correctly as an injury – has nothing to do with the legitimacy of the surgery. Boy Erased  claims to be a memoir about actual events. I and others doubt that what is portrayed in this film ever happened, in Tennessee or anywhere. We continue to wait for those who might know to confirm or deny these allegations of terrible abuse. Unfortunately for the producers, this film will make history – as a vehemently Christian-bashing, deceptive, an unjust portrayal of what actually does happen when people are quietly and sensitively counseled about unwanted homosexual feelings. Churches have no right to insist on employees that accept and practice their faith’s teachings on homosexuality, according to Austin officials defending an “anti-discrimination” ordinance currently being challenged by two socially conservative groups. One of the most important issues we have to resolve at this time is the attempt by the liberal left "progressive" provincial governments to usurp the role of parents. A Christian parent confronted the governors of her child’s primary school about the treatment she and her son received after she objected to the school’s mandatory homosexual “Pride Day” celebrations. That treatment included being barred from entering her five-year-old’s school to discuss the kindergartener being given four hours of detention after his mother’s objections to the LGBT event were made known.
