Uniting Church in Australia (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Rouge liberal Uniting Church  locum-pastor Roger Munson sees nothing incompatible between the teachings of Jesus Christ and same-sex marriages. All conservative Christian church leaders remain at the forefront of organised opposition to the legalisation of homosexual marriage. But Mr Munson, a Canberra Uniting Church minister, is a registered celebrant under the ACT's marriage homosexual law and will preside at the wedding of a male couple this weekend. He has organised commitment ceremonies for homosexual couples in the past and said he was happy for gay and lesbian couples to marry . Munson lacks understanding of Biblical moral law which Jesus spoke very clearly about. When asked a question on divorce Jesus outlined the biblical concept of marriage as ordained by God being between a man and a woman for life.   Munson illustrates either his lack of knowledge, poor understanding or biblical moral law or rebellion

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The High Court's two-day hearing of the Commonwealth 's case against the ACT government 's homosexual marriage law has begun. The landmark case before the full High Court bench is expected to decide whether or not the ACT has enacted a law that is in conflict with the federal marriage act and the federal family law act . The case is the first real test of whether or not states and territories can legislate for homosexual marriage. The logic that the ACT has presented would also allow in the future other creative relationship that mimic heterosexual marriage, such as bigamy.  Already the transcript of the hearing clearly portrays the mess that will be created if one territory is permitted to make it own laws like this.
