LGBT tyrants want to silence and dismiss Ruben Diaz

Image
Council Member Ruben Diaz has been a strong and steadfast supporter of maintaining marriage as the union of one man and one woman. A Democrat and a Pentecostal minister, Diaz takes very seriously the biblical admonition of marriage being only the union of one man and one woman. Mr. Diaz was elected to the New York City Council in 2017 from the Bronx. He's under attack now by the liberal media and some Council colleagues for commenting about the enormous influence the LGBT community exercises on issues before the City Council. Believe it or not, they are demanding that he resign or be removed from the Council for speaking his mind about LGBT influence! It's disgusting that the left thinks that the right to free speech applies only to them. As a former area high school student continues to fight the matter in court, a school board in Virginia says it’s holding off implementation of a new policy to force students to share restrooms with members of the opposite sex. The case is slated to go on in U.S. District Court in July. In the meantime, Fox News reports , the sch

I don’t have to agree with them. But I am responsible for my own choices. And it was that responsibility that led me to decline when two gentlemen came into my shop and invited me to create a wedding cake for their same-sex ceremony . Baker's case is not about the First Amendment  Designing a wedding cake is a very different thing from, say, baking a brownie. When people commission such a cake, they’re requesting something that’s designed to express something about the event and about the couple. What I design is not just a tower of flour and sugar, but a message tailored to a specific couple and a specific event — a message telling all who see it that this event is a wedding and that it is an occasion for celebration. In this case, I couldn’t. What a cake celebrating this event would communicate w
