Some gays want out

Image
Australia - Queensland Labor Government wants to pass restrictive laws that stop gay from getting help. The same Laws are already in place in the U.S. and Europe targets ex-gay people. You want to get out - hard luck nobody will help you! Why Because it is illegal.  GAYS WANTS TO ESCAPE - QLD GOVERNMENT SAYS NO In 2018, Utah joined 18 other states in banning the therapy for children, while the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico have also banned the practice. In Europe, currently, the U.K., Malta, and some jurisdictions in Spain have banned the practice for children and adults. A rally was held in October by Pastor James Domen and other former homosexuals, who called on the U.S. Congress not to endorse the so-called “Equality Act” and “Therapeutic Fraud Prevention Act” that would prevent others from seeking to escape LGBT lives. Domen, at the time, “We are being targeted by city, state and the federal governments here in the United States.” GAYS WANTS TO ESCAPE - QLD GOVER

Sloppy Queensland Government Homosexual Conversion Therapy Ban

Image
Prohibitions on “gay conversion therapy” are becoming popular with legislators. Of course, no sensible person supports someone being administered – against their will – electroshock therapy or chemicals or oppressive bullying  - to make them change their sexual orientation (which are the sort of things most people think of when this phrase is used).  But there is a real danger that legislation which goes beyond targeting these specific things will itself interfere with the freedom of people to seek to change unwanted behaviors. Suppose there is a devout Christian person who accepts the Bible’s teaching that same-sex sexual activity is not God’s will, and yet experiences same-sex attraction. They approach their pastor or their small group leader and ask for help to overcome what they see as a sinful attraction, by reading the Bible with them, counseling and regular meetings for prayer. Is that going to be caught by the legislation? Take the current proposals which are befor

LNP being manipulated by Homosexual activism

English: Campbell Newman. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Last night , the LNP's changes to the controversial Civil Partnership Act cleared Parliament early this morning after almost four hours of debate, despite angry scenes from the public gallery. Homosexual activist were physically removed from the public gallery and the building from hurling abuse at the LNP. Homosexual advocates do not understand community and the word: NO! Forget the budget, unemployment, these advocates want their deamnds met regardless of everything and everybody else. Will they stop?     Police were forced to intervene during a speech by Member for Ipswich Ian Berry after an onlooker refused to depart after interrupting the address.      About 60 more people in the gallery then began chanting "shame" forcing the suspension of proceedings as protestors were removed and the gallery closed before the resumption of debate. Deputy Speaker Mark Robinson threatened to clear the gallery due to

LNP does back flip on Homosexual civil unions

Image
English: Campbell Newman. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The Queensland Government says it will not repeal same-sex civil union laws in the state, but the legislation will be amended. After promising that they would repeal the Civil Union Act, Premier Campbell Newman and his Attorney-General have decided civil partnerships will still be formally registered, but there will be no state-sanctioned ceremonies. The original bill was rushed through Parliament by the then Labor government  in order to gave votes from homosexuals in the seat of Mt. Cootha, before the March state election, prompting the LNP to promise it would look into repealing them. The ALP lost his seat anyways. Mr Newman is pro gay marriage and declared as much during the election campaign, even though his party's official position is against it. He says changes to the Civil Partnerships Act are a sensible compromise and will preserve couples' rights. "[They are] minimal amendments that will keep, if

Say NO to homosexual civil unions in Queensland

Parliament House, Brisbane, Australia. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Urgent : Please  sign the e-petition  to the Qld Parliament today calling for the Government to honour its election promise to repeal marriage-mimicking Civil Partnership laws A week ago, activists set up an e-petition to the Queensland Parliament urging the LNP to renege from its election promise to repeal marriage-mimicking Civil Partnership laws. It is very important that we show Premier Campbell Newman and the LNP that we appreciate their commitment to honouring their election promise and to honouring the place of marriage in Qld society. ACL has established an  e-petition to the Queensland Parlaiment entitled ‘Defending Marriage in Queensland’ . Could I ask you to please sign and also pass on to others. Last week we heard the news that the Danish Parliament has now passed a law forcing churches to perform homosexual weddings. Denmark was the first country in the world to legalise civil unions.
