Prominent feminist Naomi Wolf has a new book coming out that purports to expose new horrors about the historical criminalization of homosexuality, but her promotional efforts hit a snag this week when an interviewer confronted her with a significant factual error behind the book’s premise. Releasing on June 18 in the United States (and already available in the United Kingdom), Outrages: Sex, Censorship, and the Criminalization of Love purports to detail “how a single English law in 1857 led to a maelstrom” of oppression against consensual homosexual relationships across both England and the United States. This week Wolf sat down for an interview with the BBC’s Matthew Sweet to promote the book, but the conversation took an awkward turn when Sweet explained that her thesis rested on a misunderstanding of a key legal term related to the law in question. Wolf claimed to have reviewed records indicating “several dozen executions” for sodomy despite a popular “misapprehension” that “the la

Mexico’s wins initial victory against transgenderism

Pro-natural marriage made a stand against the government’s effort to amend Mexico’s constitution and same-sex “marriage.” Porfirio Muñoz Ledo, who leads Mexico’s Chamber of Deputies, introduced a bill last week to reform the constitution that would not only legalize abortion throughout the largely Catholic nation but also permit same-sex “marriage” and euthanasia and also legalize narcotics. The Morena party is currently in the majority in Mexico’s bicameral Congress, over which Muñoz Ledo currently presides. President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador had not been vocal about abortion and transgenderism during his presidential campaign last year, even while members of his Morena party have long signaled their support for that agenda. Due to an online pro-life campaign, the debate over the constitutional reform was tabled by two congressional committees. According to ACI Prensa, Rodrigo Iván Cortés of Mexico’s National Front for the Family described Muñoz Ledo’s legislative proposal as

A Christian parent confronted the governors of her child’s primary school about the treatment she and her son received after she objected to the school’s mandatory homosexual “Pride Day” celebrations. That treatment included being barred from entering her five-year-old’s school to discuss the kindergartener being given four hours of detention after his mother’s objections to the LGBT event were made known. Izoduwa Adhedo was one of a group of parents who complained that their children, pupils at Heavers Farm Primary School in South East London, were compelled to take part in the June 29, 2018 “Proud to be Me” event. According to a statement released by the UK’s Christian Legal Centre (CLC), some of these parents, including Mrs. Adhedo, say that they were treated “dismissively” and “victimized” after their objections. CLC’s Robert Kiska said that when Adhedo met with Susan Papas, the principal, or “headteacher,” on September 19 to discuss her concerns, she was confronted by a teacher

Ireland’s Prime Minister has said he hopes to challenge Pope Francis on homosexuality and same-sex “marriage” when he visits Ireland for the Vatican-sponsored World Meeting of Families later this month. The Emerald Isle’s current Prime Minister, Leo Varadkar, is an openly gay man with a male partner, who has used his position as a national leader to promote gay issues on the international stage. When asked at a recent press briefing what he might say to the Pope about the absence of gay families during the promotion of the upcoming World Meeting of Families (WMF), Varadkar said he would express “our views as a society and a government that families come in all sorts of different forms and that includes families that are… by same-sex parents and other families as well,” according to a report by The Journal . The question concerned gay activists’ continuing outrage over the removal of images of same-sex couples as well as pro-homosexual texts from a reissued booklet created by the cou
