England,  – A primary school in England makes children as young as six writes “love letters” inserting themselves into a homosexual fairytale, according to a recent video from BBC Radio Manchester. The Blaze   reports  that the video profiles a class at Bewsey Lodge Primary School, in which teacher Sarah Hopson has her students place themselves in the role of Prince Henry and write a letter asking male servant Thomas to “marry” him. “This school teaches children about LGBT relationships from an early age,” text over the video explains. “This class of 6-year-old is learning about gay marriage [...] all ages take part in LGBT lessons.” Children are “going to go out into that world and find this diversity around them, and they’ll find that at a young age as well,” Hopson told the BBC. “And the more they can be accepting at this age, you’re not going to face it further on because the children will be accepting now and will be accepting this diversity around them.” Bewsey Lodg

Over 30 Qld schools have opted in to use the resources, including 5 primary schools and 7 P-12 schools , despite our Education Minister assuring the Parliament that the resources would only be made available to secondary schools . I have commenced a Qld Parliament petition – not calling for the program to be scrapped – but for an inquiry into the appropriateness of the materials and for the Qld schools who are using the resources to be made public as in other states, so that parents can know what their children will be being taught. Today I am launching a petition calling on the Palaszczuk government to stop the roll-out of the so-called “Safe Schools” program in Queensland . The federally funded “Safe Schools” program is billed as an anti-homophobia campaign, but really it is teaching gay sex and queer gender theory to kids. It’s even being rolled out in some primary schools . Let me be very clear, our schools should be safe for every student .  No one should have to suffer bullying and especially not at school. But “Safe Schools” goes way beyond an anti-bullying campaign. The program’s material could charitably be described as ‘explicit’.  It contains: · explicit discussions about gay and lesbian sex · encourages schools to put up posters depicting gay and lesbian relationships · encourages schools to allow students to cross-dress · suggests that schools set up unisex toilets And that’s just the start of it.
