The children of homosexual parents - LGBT want to hide these stories

Image
As you know I am now an Official Bonafide Jet-setter and as such I was in DC (people who move and shake drop the Washington part and now that I am so worldly, well, you know) last weekend for a panel discussion hosted by Alliance Defending Freedom called “What about the children?” They invited me to speak alongside marriage law expert Caleb Dalton and Dr. Paul Sullins who happens to be The Go -To Man on the impact of same-sex parenting . He is responsible for studies that capture data representative of more than all of the oppositions studies represent combined. So basically, with a legal expert and social scientist at my side I just got to show up and blather. Here’s a few blather-inspired video clips: Is “love makes a family” really a fair thing to say to kids? When kids watch their father love their mother Gender matters in jury selection and parenting selection The broken bond of same-sex parenting If we get the real message of marriage across, we could have the most pro-marri

Dr. Ben Carson tells CPAC: Homosexuals ‘don’t get extra rights’

Image
WASHINGTON, D.C. , March 10, 2014 – At CPAC , former Marine Oliver North and Dr. Ben Carson reminded cheering crowds that social issues are an integral part of America's future. Carson, the famed neurosurgeon and Johns Hopkins professor emeritus who entered the political limelight after  criticizing   President Obama   during the National Prayer Breakfast last year , said that “of course gay people should have the same rights as everyone else. But they don't get extra rights. They don't get to redefine marriage.” He also pointed to the importance of “putting what God says in front of what any man says.” At the end of the national anthem, Americans “must remember that we cannot be free if we are not brave," he added. North, a longtime political commentator and former Reagan administration official,  criticized  those who “say that we must ignore social issues, like the definition of marriage and the sanctity of life, religious freedoms.” He said t

Immoral Obama phones immoral homosexual leaders: ‘We’re proud of you guys’

Image
WASHINGTON, D.C. , June 26, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – En route to a $100 million trip to Africa, President Obama picked up the phone on Air Force One to tell the same-sex couple that sued to redefine marriage in the state of California , “We're proud of you guys.” Kris Perry and Sandy Stier, the lesbian couple that challenged California's Proposition 8 defining marriage as a union between a man and a woman, received an unexpected call while being interviewed on MSNBC . Human Rights Campaign President Chris Griffin brought over a cell phone that connected him with President Obama. “We're proud of you guys,” the president said in a scratchy phone call broadcast over the left-leaning network. “And we're so glad for California.” Obama praised the “leadership” the couple showed during the proceedings surrounding  Hollingsworth v. Perry  case, adding that he was “very proud for your courage.” You're helping out a whole lot of people everywhere,”

What I saw at the March for Normal Godly Marriage

Image
WASHINGTON, D.C. , March 28, 2013 ( Family Research Council ) - I’ve been going to pro-life marches since 1981, so I’m getting used to the drill. Still, this week’s  March for Marriage  in Washington, D.C. promised to be different in many ways. It was slated to coincide with the  U.S.Supreme Court ’s oral arguments on the Defense of Marriage Act and on California’s Proposition 8 . The media says Prop 8 was designed to “ban” homosexuals from marrying. It was designed for no such thing. As was the federal Defense of Marriage Act , Prop 8 was designed to protect an institution that is under attack. The media puts us in the "anti" position. That’s typical. We’re said to be anti-abortion when we say we are pro-life. We have this odd notion that the child in the womb should not be killed. If we came out against hanging, I guess the media would call us anti-gravity. I arrived early on the Mall for the March, so I ducked into the great red Smithsonian Castle for a cup of coffe

Obama militant homsexual agenda

WASHINGTON, D.C. , February 25, 2013, ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – Completing the turn against traditional marriage he began more than two years ago, President Barack Obama filed a brief asking the Supreme Court to strike down the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). The administration has placed access to taxpayer-subsidized benefits and tax breaks – as well as its belief the homosexuals deserve a special place as an underprivileged minority group – at the heart of its legal argument. Solicitor General Donald Verrilli filed the amicus curiae brief urging the court to declare Section 3 of DOMA unconstitutional on multiple grounds, including an alleged violation of equal protection under the law. The 54-page document also claims the justices must give greater deference to homosexuals, because “gay and lesbian people are a minority group with limited political power.” The decision acknowledges that voters in three states – Maine, Maryland, and Washington – democratically approved marri

Pro-Gay media subdued reporting on Family Research Council shooter

Image
August 16, 2012 ( JillStanek.com ) - I was camping yesterday morning when a friend alerted me via Twitter there had been a shooting at  Family Research Council  headquarters in Washington, D.C. Frightened for my friends, I began checking Google for news reports. Ten minutes later  the first story popped up, stating an FRC security guard had been shot in the arm, and the shooter had been arrested. A bit relieved, I went ahead with a planned day trip, tuning in to news radio in the truck to keep up with the latest. Nada. I switched to WLS radio, the Chicago ABC affiliate. More nada. I thought to myself had this been a shooting at a NARAL or GLAAD headquarters, or at a Planned Parenthood , the journalistic world  Logo of the Family Research Council. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) would have stopped. But because FRC is conservative, a shooting wasn’t as big a deal. As the day went on, the shooter was identified as Floyd Lee Corkins II, pictured above.  ABC reported :

Jim Henson withholding Muppets toys from Chick-fil-A over pro-family stance

Image
Washington DC , July 24th, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - The Jim Henson Company is withholding their Muppets children’s toys from Dan Cathy, President and Chief Operating Officer at Chick-fil-A , after the President pleaded “guilty as charged” to having a traditional pro-family stance.  Last Friday, The Jim Henson Company said via Facebook , “The Jim Henson Company has celebrated and embraced diversity and inclusiveness for over fifty years and we have notified Chick-Fil-A that we do not wish to partner with them on any future endeavors.” The statement also said that Henson’s current CEO, Lisa Henson , “is personally a strong supporter of gay marriage and has directed us to donate the payment we received from Chick-Fil-A to GLAAD” ( Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation ).  The Jim Henson Company manufactured Muppet toys for the fast-food chain’s kid’s meals.  Dan Cathy stated in a  2011 interview  with the Atlantic Journal-Constitution (AJC) that his “company i

Why homosexual marriage must not become law

A symbolic marriage cake in favor of allowing gay marriages in Italy not only to heterosexual couples but to lesbian and gay ones as well. Picture by Giovanni Dall'Orto, January 26 2008. (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Saen Collins coming out against Homosexual Marriage.  The growing clamour in favour of gay marriage has led me to recognise that it is important to speak out and be counted – against the gay-marriage campaign. This is not because I am a Christian or anti-gay, but because… 1) The gay-marriage campaign is elitist and believes its opponents are ‘ bigots ’ Anyone who is against gay marriage is immediately considered to be someone who denies gay people’s humanity, does not believe in civil rights, is on the wrong side of history, is living in the past, is a ‘homophobe’ and – most of all – is a bigot. As Brendan O’Neill highlighted last week, there was a tremendous amount of abuse hurled at the 61 per cent of people in North Carolina who voted for Amendme
