House Republicans object to LGBT provisions of new NAFTA trade deal

Image
Among the accomplishments President Donald Trump is most proud of is renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) between the United States, Canada, and Mexico. But a group of GOP lawmakers voiced concerns over the ramifications of language about LGBT “discrimination.” At issue is Chapter 23 of the deal, under which all three countries agree to “implement policies that protect workers against employment discrimination on the basis of,” among other things, “sexual orientation” and “gender identity.” “We recognize your tireless efforts to protect the American worker and the American economy,” 38 Republican members of Congress wrote in a November 16 letter to the president. “We are, however, deeply concerned by the unprecedented inclusion” of “sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) language for the first time in a Free Trade Agreement.” “A trade agreement is no place for the adoption of social policy,” the signatories declared, warning that the elevating SOGI cl

Baker decision won't be justices' last word on homosexual false agenda

Image
A flood of lawsuits over immoral unreasonable LGBT agenda is making its way through courts and will continue, no matter the outcome in the Supreme Court's highly anticipated decision in the case of a Colorado baker who would not create a wedding cake for a homosexual couple. Courts are engaged in two broad types of cases on this issue, weighing whether sex discrimination laws apply to immoral  LGBT people and also whether businesses can assert religious objections to avoid complying with secular  anti-discrimination  measures in serving customers, hiring and firing employees, providing health care and placing children with foster or adoptive parents. The question must be asked who decided and on what basis were these anti-discrimination laws founded. They are now being abused by the LGBT ideology. The outcome of baker Jack Phillips ' fight at the Supreme Court could indicate how willing the justices are to carve out exceptions to poorly written secular anti-discrimin

Defying Trump, Coast Guard chief will to keep allowing transgender members

Image
The head of the United States Coast Guard said Tuesday that the force will continue to allow transgender members to serve, despite the ban recently finalized by the country’s commander in chief. “We are certainly committed to their [transgenders’] continued service in the United States Coast Guard,” Commandant Adm. Paul Zukunft told the House Appropriations Homeland Security Subcommittee,   according   to   Politico . “We will make sure that there is a one policy for all service members.” He explained that the heads of all five branches of the country’s armed forces were currently discussing how to implement President Donald Trump ’s order, but maintained that he would not expel any members until expressly ordered to do so. He added that 17 out of 40,000 active-duty Coast Guard members were estimated to be transgendered or “transitioned,” including one member of his personal staff. Zukunft made his comments in response to a question from Rep. David Price, D-NC, wh

Small U.S. town bans ‘Gay Pride’ parade, now targeted by nation’s top LGBT activist groups

Image
A small town in Mississippi turned down a parade permit for homosexuals , who in response are filing a lawsuit and creating a national uproar. Starkville city council voted 4-3 on Tuesday the 20 th  against a special event request to host and pay for accommodating the first celebration of homosexuality through their main streets.  Attending the Starkville council meeting were members of the community speaking against the parade.  “If anything should be held up and down our streets, it should not be this,” resident Dorothy Isaac  said . “Do not turn our city into a sin city.” “This is a very inclusive, a very friendly place, a very friendly city, a very friendly county, but every city has to have limits,” Rev. Thomas Rogers of Josey Creek Missionary Baptist Church  stated .  “Cities without walls are easily taken.”  He noted that the parade organizers asked for a “special privilege.” “God made Adam and Eve,” Isaac reminded the council. Top U.S. conservative event CPAC has been hijacked by LGBT activists

I attended my first  Conservative Political Action Conference  ( CPAC ) nearly a decade ago, while still living as a gay man.     I had recently undergone a ‘political awakening’ and, as a participant in the Tea Party movement from its inception, had recently co-founded  National Capital Tea Party Patriots  in Washington, DC.   At the time, I was dating a guy whose cousin was one of the Republican Party ’s famous three “ Young Guns ” — Eric Cantor, Kevin McCarthy and Paul Ryan — who were rising in leadership in the U.S. House of Representatives . I felt like that added to my conservative  bona fides .  Soon after walking through the door to CPAC at DC’s venerable Wardman Park Hotel, something unexpected happened:  My ‘gadar’ — that mysterious internal instrument that informs gay guys that they are in the presence of other gays — began buzzing off the charts.  The needle shot to the upper reaches of the red zone and remained there.   I was again pleasantly surprised whe

Fate of Trump’s transgender military ban still unclear

Image
Yesterday came and went without an expected update on the Trump administration’s policy of barring transgendered individuals from serving in the military. But White House officials told the  Washington Examiner  that Defense Secretary James Mattis “has forwarded his recommendations” on the policy to the president. “It’s now up to the president to decide whether to accept Mattis’ advice, which he is making a point of giving in private,” Jamie McIntyre wrote at the  Examiner . “But Pentagon officials tell me they don’t expect Trump to make an immediate decision, because the Pentagon is operating under four separate court orders that prevent any changes to the Obama-era policy that allows transgender troops to serve openly, and provides medical care for conversion therapy for current service members.” When Trump  announced his administration’s initial policy , he cited the “tremendous medical costs and disruption” that gender-confused soldiers pose to the military. “Afte

Zero evidence that gender fluidity and identity have any scientific basis.

An annoyingly overused phrase in modern bureaucratic lingo is “evidence-based,” which means that public policies should be backed by research and evidence showing their efficacy. No argument there – except that shoddy, agenda-driven “research ” can be produced to justify a lot of things that turn out to be very bad ideas. It’s common practice for federal bureaucrats to design and then publicize biased studies to promote their preferred policy. We outlined this practice in our new book,  Deconstructing the Administrative State: The Fight for Liberty . The process is simple:  (1) issue requests for research proposals slanted in favor of a particular outcome,  (2) fund studies that reach the expected conclusions, and  (3) cite that research in subsequent studies to claim that a “growing body of evidence” favors the preferred policy. These techniques are now being deployed in a new area: treatment for gender dysphoria. Dr. Quentin Van Meter, an Atlanta pediatric endocrinol

LGBT argument - Other countries passed homosexual marriage why don't we?

Image
Why should any country subject itself to the definitions of other countries ?  Many LGBT activists claimed we were backward in not approving immoral sinful homosexual marriage . LGBT activists said the sky hadn't fallen. Other countries have done this! This is embarrassing! Should our country follow countries where child marriages are allowed  or forced marriage? Where marriage may be terminated only at the unfettered will of the husband? “What makes some of these characteristics immutable and others not?”  Marriage moved from church law to common law to be abused and twisted by politicians.  But there seems to have been no intention in that decision to identify the concept of marriage by reference to the laws used in other countries. When looked at on a global scale, by far the vast majority of other nations do not recognise same sex marriage, then this “international” criterion is not going to assist the proponents of change unless they can identify some “subset” o

New study shows gender is biological, unchangeable

Image
According to a new study, differences between boys and girls are biological and not fluid, as transgender theory claims. Research revealed in  the Infant and Child Development Journal  concluded that gender preferences in children are not so much the result of their environment and upbringing as they are intrinsic within the child. These findings contradict prevailing LGBTQQICAPF2K+ belief that gender is both externally directed and fluid. The sexual orientation/ gender acronym , LGBTQQICAPF2K+, stands for “Lesbian,” “Gay,” “Bisexual,” “ Transgender ,” “Queer,” “Questioning,” “Intersex,” “Curious,” “Asexual,” “ Agender ,” “Ally,” “ Pansexual ,” “ Polysexual ,” “Friends and family,” “ Two-spirit ” and “Kink.” Sixteen studies composed of 787 boys and 813 girls were documented. Researchers found that consistently “boys played with male-typed toys more than girls did, and girls played with female-typed toys more than boys did.”   This finding won’t surprise most parent

LGBT supportive company denied me service

Image
This week, I was denied a service because the company’s values are at odds with the values that Alliance Defending Freedom stands for — values I personally hold. And guess what? I’m okay with that. Allow me to explain. As a writer, I’m always looking to improve my skills. And working for a no-debt legal service like Alliance Defending Freedom, which can only take on cases and clients as the funds are provided through our generous ministry friends, fundraising is an important part of what we do. Using my work information, I signed up for an online course created by Moceanic, a team of talented fundraisers who have created a coaching and training business to help writers better connect with donors. I’ve read blog posts and books that the team has produced, and I truly admire their talents. They have a gift for connecting with people. What I didn’t know when I signed up for the course, however, is that Moceanic does a lot of work with organizations such as the ACLU , Planned Parenthoo
