Ballarat Christian College in southeast Australia can now retain its Statement of Faith defining marriage as a union between a man and woman as a result of a settlement it reached with a former pro-same-sex marriage teacher. The teacher, an American LGBT advocate did not disclose her liberal Biblical views to the school when applying for her teaching position. She persisted in violating the school ethical code and the school's biblical code until she was sacked. Then violating scripture she took the school to Court.  Her pretension was exposed but because there are no religious freedom laws, it is the school that pays the penalty for such non-biblical behaviour.  The school has now been manipulated by an LGBT advocate claiming she has the Christian faith. As part of the settlement, the Christian college in Victoria will pay an undisclosed amount as payout and give a positive employment reference to Rachel Colvin, who filed the lawsuit backed by LGBT rights group Equality Aus

Christian Wallabies players have blasted Rugby Australia, saying they 'felt muzzled' and were not allowed to publicly support their teammate Israel Folau before he was sacked for posting homophobic messages to Instagram. Senior Wallabies Sekope Kepu and Samu Kerevi both supported Folau after his social media posts about homosexuals being condemned to hell when they died. The case presents the high court with an opportunity to decide whether conservative religious believers can use the First Amendment as a defense against laws requiring accommodation of LGBT people, a question the justices ducked in the 2018 Masterpiece Cakeshop ruling. “I could lose my business and life savings simply because I declined to celebrate and participate in a sacred event that violates my faith,” the florist, Barronelle Stutzman, said following Thursday’s decision. “No artist or creative professional should be forced by the government to create custom work that conflicts with their deeply held beliefs. The Australian Christian Lobby is demanding the Queensland Government cease supporting a school based anti-bullying program for gay, intersex and gender diverse children, accusing it of promoting "radical sexual experimentation", by encouraging the acceptance of gender and sexual diverse children. The Safe Schools Coalition Australia program was made available to Queensland schools from the start of the second semester this year. The federally-funded program, which is also available in Victoria , New South Wales , the Australian Capital Territory and Tasmania , is not compulsory, with principals able to choose whether or not their school could benefit from it. Here is my case for normal heterosexual Biblical marriage. First, the government has a vested interest in supporting relationships that propagate the human species in an environment most conducive to health and wellbeing. That environment is the freely chosen, lifelong, loving union of one man and one woman that is open to new life. Children have the right to be conceived, raised, and cared for in the loving union of a husband and wife.
