Trans people tell us reality is defined by what they identify as. Not only do they  think of themselves  as the opposite sex, but they  really are  the other sex. Reality itself changes to match their mental state.  There’s something seriously — and obviously — irrational going on here. Frankly, I’m surprised I haven’t seen it discussed more often.  If they can do that, why can’t the rest of us?  What If We All Thought We Could Do That? Imagine a conversation: Trans person:  “I was ‘assigned female’ at birth, but I identify as a man.” Answer:  “Ha! You may see yourself as male, but I see you as female.” Trans person:  “What?  Really!?  That’s so disrespectful! You’re so intolerant. You’re so bigoted. ” Answer:  “No, not at all. You’ve ‘assigned me’ as disrespectful, intolerant and bigoted. I identify as perfectly tolerant, respectful, sensitive and kind.” That’s just one way it might go. I could identify as the owner of Amazon.com. You could identify as my landlord

There was a  story in the Edinburgh Newslast week, gravely titled “Edinburgh labourer shouted abuse at transgender woman.” It turns out that one Graham Spiers, a father of two and a construction worker employed at the St. James construction site, was walking past a pub in Bonnington, Edinburgh, with a few buddies, when they passed a transgender woman—a biological male. Although the journalist writing the story goes to great lengths to make it sound as if Spiers was “screaming” at the apparent victim, Spiers and his friends were specifically accused of “pointing and laughing” at the person. The man being laughed at suspected that he was being mocked for his appearance, as fiscal depute Rosie Cook told the Edinburgh Sheriff Court that the “complainer thought [the laughing and pointing] was in reference to her gender transition.” The transgender person then did what anyone would do if someone laughed at them: He promptly called the police, who take such things very seriously these days

Read the article below to try to understand how some writers or transgender writers portray themselves as victims instead of seeing their condition as a mental health condition, which it is. The author wants to promote transgender as normal and healthy like homosexuality but is blaming the media for a scare campaign. When you are convinced you are right -especially when you are wrong and are in an unhealthy mental state it is no wonder people object. Notice the use of words like "moral panic' "fear" "history repeating itself." This is blame everybody else for our immoral mental health lifestyle choices. The American College of Pediatricians issued a statement this week condemning gender reclassification in children by stating that transgenderism in children amounts to child abuse . “The American College of Pediatricians urges educators and legislators to reject all policies that condition children to accept as normal a life of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex. Posing happily with their three-year-old daughter, Dade Barlow and Tiffany Grimes look like any other husband and wife. But the couple haven't always lived this way; Dade was born female, and when the pair first met in 2008 theirs was a lesbian relationship. In fact, Tiffany had previously left her first husband as she believed herself to be gay.
