Australian PM warned pro-traditional marriage will abandon pro-LGBT Government

Image
The No campaign on same-sex marriage has warned the Turnbull government not to ignore religious freedoms or risk alienating “tens of thousands” of politically active members in a new grassroots conservative movement that could campaign against the Coalition at the next election. The warning came after Tony Abbott last week highlighted the rise of a new conservative movement prepared to fight for Western culture and religious freedom as a result of the same-sex marriage debate. In a move which could threaten the Liberal Party base, the No campaign yesterday revealed it had the “proven tools and infrastructure” to turn religious freedoms into an election issue. A senior No campaign source told  The Australian  that many of its supporters felt they had been “taken for granted by a government who quite frankly has left many of them behind” and would be closely watching how religious freedoms were protected in the event of a Yes vote. With voting closing yesterday in

Homosexual Marriage - two things cant be true at the same time

TRUTH IS REPLACED BY RIGHTS AND HURT FEELINGS The kids are okay. Shut up. That’s the message from the same-sex marriage movement . To argue for the right of children to be able to know the love and nurture, wherever possible, of their mother and father is simply bigotry, hatred and ignorance. That is what we are being told now before the law is changed. I wonder what will happen if we lose the plebiscite. Will advocating for mother and fathering of children, wherever possible, become hate speech? I’m worried about this. The same-sex marriage movement is also worried that our concern for children’s rights might lose them votes. Yesterday the Medical Journal of Australia published an article which reported on a survey of research which claims that family structure is irrelevant to the raising of a child. That it is possible for two men or two women to love a child and produce positive outcomes for that child is not in dispute. But the idea that the “no difference” case is closed is

Westpac Bank caught out lying about homosexual sodomy statistics

Image
WESTPAC have received backlash after encouraging their staff to vote Yes in the same-sex marriage plebiscite through a company wide email, which contained exaggerated information about LGBTI suicide rates in Australia . The email, sent by the bank’s Youth Network to Westpac and St George employees, stated that a Yes vote was a “no brainer” and “would prevent 3000 suicides per year”. But according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics a total of 2886 people died from intentional self harm in Australia in 2016, there was no indication as to what the motives were for these suicides or if sexual orientation or gender identity was a factor. On the 2GB morning show Ray Hadley read out a section of the email, which was sent in anonymously, criticising the bank over their false claims. “In 2016 Westpac group signed to an open letter in support of Australian marriage equality , believing it is the right thing to do, while we are not one to tell anyone how to roll, it’s a no-brainer,”

Westpac Bank lied - homosexual marriage saves 3000 suicides

Westpac bank slammed for 'blackmailing' staff after it mass-emailed employees to vote 'yes' to same sex marriage using 'fudged statistics.' Westpac's youth network emailed 10,000 staff urging them to vote yes to SSM Called vote a 'no brainer' and claimed it would prevent 3,000 suicides a year. Email slammed as emotional 'blackmail' and a 'bad precedent' for the bank Statistic actually referred to suicide attempts that could be averted. Westpac sent an email to staff urging them to vote yes to gay marriage, claiming it would prevent 3,000 suicides a year. The message from the bank's youth network, representing staff under 30, was sent to 10,000 of 40,000 staff and called voting yes a 'no brainer'.  But the bank admitted its statistic used in the email was a mistake and actually referred to research only talking about suicide attempts. 'We said that we would get that information clarified to the staff and we

Religious Organizations targeted by future LGBTQ marriage

Peter Dutton says religious schools must have right to teach own definition of marriage.   Religious schools , including Catholic and Anglican schools, should have a legislatively protected right to teach their conception of marriage, Peter Dutton  has said. Dutton has weighed in on the side of Coalition conservatives, including Tony Abbott , who argue that religious freedom and freedom of speech are at stake in the same-sex marriage postal survey, a view rejected by the attorney general, George Brandis , and fellow moderate Christopher Pyne . Dutton’s comments came after the Liberal MP Andrew Hastie said he would lobby “very hard” for religious protections to be included in a same-sex marriage bill, foreshadowing a major fight about which bill should be used to legislate marriage equality if the yes case wins the upcoming survey. Asked about the same-sex marriage debate, Dutton said the government’s position is “there needs to be protection for religious freedom”. “People ne

Religious Freedoms lost to Homosexual Marriage

Image
While the flawed postal vote plebiscite has provoked furious rival responses, the pivotal problem is just emerging — the failure in any draft bill by Coalition or Labor MPs to fully protect religious freedoms once same-sex marriage is legislated. This is set to become an explosive issue within the Coalition parties. The alarm has been sounded and if, as expected, the plebiscite returns a “yes” vote, it will be triggered. This will become a serious problem for Malcolm Turnbull and Attorney-General George Brandis . Tony Abbott , a number of other prominent Liberals and church leaders will direct much of their campaign against same-sex marriage on to the failure of the parliament to confront the religious freedom issue and exploit public doubts on this front. Beyond the campaign lies the great dilemma. The proposition is lethal — that it would constitute a historical betrayal of the values of the Coalition parties if they “backed” a bill post-plebiscite on same-sex marriage that e

Parent Politician Argument for Lesbian Marriage - faulty logic

An Australian politician advocating for gay marriage -my response in red The Fact My Daughter Can't Marry Is Unacceptable In 2016.  There is much being said about marriage equality and the plebiscite from both sides of the House. It is my view that this issue is fundamentally one of human rights and equality. Every citizen on this Earth deserves to be treated with dignity and respect and to have his or her human rights recognised and valued regardless of their race, religion, sexuality or culture. Except the fact that homosexuality is not a human right .  But for me, this is a deeply felt and personal issue. My husband and I have three wonderful children. The eldest is a young man who has a nine-year-old son and a four-week-old daughter; he is engaged to be married. Our second child is a daughter who is married and has two beautiful children; a seven-year-old daughter and a four-year-old son. And our youngest daughter is engaged to her same sex partner but ca

ALP’s anti-plebiscite drive reflects audacity of hate

Image
There is something rather dangerous about the gay marriage debate — and it is not homosexuality or marriage. It is the view widely held by our political Left that liberal democratic precepts can be overridden whenever they interfere with politically correct ideology. Not content merely to deny the democratic mandate of millions who endorsed the same-sex marriage plebiscite by voting the Coalition into power, Labor is sowing civil hatred as social order. The abysmal and divisive new ethos of Labor is the audacity of hate. I think it would be fair to surmise that the opposition’s legal affairs spokesman Mark Dreyfus doesn’t suffer from an excess of modesty. But even so, his idea that the government should “win over” Labor by compromising on the plebiscite bill is remarkably arrogant. The government has an election mandate to hold a plebiscite on same-sex marriage. Labor’s denial of it constitutes a repudiation of the will of the people. Having lost its election

This is How the Homosexual Activists “Debate” – And This is How Democracy Dies

Image
What debate? What democracy? When Mark Steyn was last in Australia I of course paid close attention to what he had to say and took copious notes. One thing I recorded that especially stood out was this thought: “The Left does not want to win the debate, it wants to shut down the debate.” That is as accurate as you can get. And I know this from firsthand experience. I have been to numerous public meetings on topics such as marriage and family either as a speaker or a listener which the radical leftists and the homosexual activists sought to shut down, disrupt, and/or turn into mayhem. I have more than once even had to run the gauntlet, and be personally escorted into a venue by a line of police who had to keep the raging and hate-filled militants away from us. I have personally experienced being jostled and shoved by the angry activists, had things thrown at me, and abused me with all manner of foul and despicable language – all because I dared to think differently than

Only married people should vote for gay marriage plebiscite

Image
Australian support for marriage equality has apparently,  steadily increased over the years; it has risen from just 38% in 2004. A July 2014 poll showed 52% of Australians supported the legalisation of same-sex marriage . It is unknown whether people answers honestly in polls fearing some form of being labelled a bigot. That question is never asked. The poll was limited to 1000. Research was done by the gay organization - Australian Marriage Equality Despite this support for marriage equality, marriage itself is in decline in Australia . There were just 5.2 marriages per 1000 people in 2014 , down from 6.2 in 2004 and 9.2 in 1950 . Hence, only those who are married should be allowed to vote in the homosexual plebiscite as they are the only one who has invested in this institution. Why should people who disregard even hate marriage have a say in marriage?  Related articles Marriage equality plebiscite: Pyne says Coalition may consult Labor on wording (theguardian.com) Why
