The approval of homosexual pseudo-marriage in the Senate on February 25th 2016, with 173 in favor, 71 against and 76 abstentions is the last stage in the process of dissolution of Italian society which began with the introduction of divorce (1970), then the legalization of abortion (1978) and has as its next, imminent step, the legalization of euthanasia. ROME , May 12, 2014 – The municipal authorities of the city of Crotone in the far south of Italy have voted to allow resident same-sex partners to register as “ civil unions ,” despite the fact that there is no provision in Italian law for such recognition. Opponents of the move have called it “futile” and ideologically motivated, since such registries would have no legal reality. Earlier this month, the national homosexual lobby group Arcigay distributed a leaflet at the Istituto Superiore Cattaneo-Dall'Aglio, a high school in Castelnuovo Monti, that included highly explicit language giving information on the best method for homosexuals to “have sex without risk.” The leaflet was aimed at “children up to 15 years” and includes instructions on oral and anal sex and the advice to “get a gay doctor, and be vaccinated against Hepatitis B.” It also details the various “safe” uses of “sex toys.” The leaflet includes a cartoon illustration that gives a graphic depiction of a nude reclining man, his genitals barely covered with a cloth, as well as drawings showing how to use a condom.
