Homosexual activists push agenda by registering 'marriages' in Mexican municipalities

Homosexual couples are attempting to force the issue of gay "marriage" in Mexico by registering their marriages at the municipal level, sometimes with the connivance of sympathetic politicians, according to reports by the national media. The method has already worked in the state of Quintana Roo , where two lesbians and two male homosexuals used a loophole in the law to register their unions as "marriages" in 2012. The state's law only referred to "contracting parties" or "couples," without reference to the sex of the spouses, prompting local officials to permit the "weddings." After the state government initially refused to accept the unions as legal "marriages," the couple took their fight to the state's procurator (which is the equivalent of an attorney general in the United States ), and the National Human Rights Commission. The state government backed off, and now allows any homosexual couple to

The text of the bill not only permits two people of the same sex to “marry,” but also enshrines gender ideology into its marriage statute. It states that “the institution of matrimony will include the union of two contracting parties, whatever their gender identity or sexual orientation, on the same terms, with equal effects and forms of solution that the Civil Code currently establishes.” The Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of the National Congress, is reportedly scheduled to vote on the measure tomorrow, following approval of the text of the bill by the chamber’s Constitution and Codes Commission. Mexican Supreme Court declares heterosexual marriage law “unconstitutional”

MEXICO CITY , December 7, 2012, ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - The First Chamber of Mexico’s Supreme Court of Justice has ruled unanimously that a law of the state of Oaxaca defining marriage as a union between one man and one woman is “unconstitutional,” claiming that “it offends the auto-determination of people and the right to free development of their personality.” The ruling is the first step in the process of creating a precedent that would be binding on the whole federal court system , and could ultimately mandate the creation of homosexual “marriage” throughout Mexico’s 31 states. Currently, homosexual “marriage” is only officially recognized in Mexico’s ultra-leftist Federal District , also known as Mexico City, where the killing of the unborn on demand is legal and state subsidized during the first twelve weeks of pregnancy as well. However, the unanimity of the ruling, which included conservative judge Jorge Mario Pardo in addition to the two others making up the chambe

(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) August 23, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - A Mexican federal court judge has ordered the state of Oaxaca to perform homosexual “marriages” based on a recent constitutional amendment prohibiting discrimination based on “ sexual preferences .” The nation’s Supreme Court is now reviewing the right of the government of Oaxaca to contest the ruling. The case would likely end up in the Supreme Court for a final verdict. According to second district judge Roque Leyva Gustavo, the current law must be overridden because “homosexual couples are given a different treatment in the same situation, because they are not permitted the right to contract marriage, without valid reasons to justify it, while the reasons given are based simply on sexual preferences.” Leyva Gustavo denied that permitting homosexuals to “marry” would threaten the institution of marriage, because society has ac
