The children of homosexual parents - LGBT want to hide these stories

Image
As you know I am now an Official Bonafide Jet-setter and as such I was in DC (people who move and shake drop the Washington part and now that I am so worldly, well, you know) last weekend for a panel discussion hosted by Alliance Defending Freedom called “What about the children?” They invited me to speak alongside marriage law expert Caleb Dalton and Dr. Paul Sullins who happens to be The Go -To Man on the impact of same-sex parenting . He is responsible for studies that capture data representative of more than all of the oppositions studies represent combined. So basically, with a legal expert and social scientist at my side I just got to show up and blather. Here’s a few blather-inspired video clips: Is “love makes a family” really a fair thing to say to kids? When kids watch their father love their mother Gender matters in jury selection and parenting selection The broken bond of same-sex parenting If we get the real message of marriage across, we could have the most pro-marri

Starbucks CEO tells shareholder to sell his shares if he doesn’t like gay ‘marriage’

Image
SEATTLE, Washington , March 26, 2013 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - At the annual Starbucks shareholder 's meeting in Seattle last week, company CEO Howard Shultz told a shareholder that he should buy stocks in other coffee businesses if he didn't like Starbucks’ endorsement of same-sex "marriage." Shareholder Tom Strobhar had pointed to what he argued was a significant drop in sales following a boycott launched by the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) protesting Starbucks’ support of homosexual "marriage" in Washington state . "In the first full quarter after this boycott was announced, our sales and our earnings, shall we say politely, were a bit disappointing," said Strobhar according to a ChristianNews.net  report. Strobhar questioned whether it was a prudent business move for Starbucks to risk share value by supporting gay "marriage." According to the  Puget Sound Business Journal , Schultz, after interrupting Strobha

Department store Nordstrom supports redefining marriage

Image
SEATTLE, October 18, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) - Adding its company to a roster of massive corporations that includes the likes of Starbucks , Amazon.com, and Home Depot , Nordstrom has supported the redefinition of marriage in an internal e-mail to the department store chain’s employees “We just continued to hear from more and more employees that they wanted us to stand up and support it,” Nordstrom spokeswoman Brooke White said. The company previously supported the homosexual agenda by adopting benefits for “life partners” as far back as 1998, and adding sexual orientation to its anti-discrimination policy only a few years prior in 1995. Nordstrom is allowing the Washington State pro-Referendum 74 website, which seeks to redefine the term “marriage” to include members of the same sex, to post its internal e-mail. “It is our belief that our gay and lesbian employees are entitled to the same rights and protections marriage provides under the law as our other employee

Gay activists boycott AMWAY after president donates $500,000 to traditional marriage

Image
August 10, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – In 2009, Amway President Doug DeVos donated half a million dollars to the National Organization for Marriage (NOM). On August 3, his donation came under attack by gay activist Fred Karger ’s Rights Equal Rights organization in the form of a global boycott. The reason for the boycott, according to  RightsEqualRights.com , is to “support our friends and…keep pressure on the mega-donors to NOM and other likeminded organizations and individuals who so vigorously oppose Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) equality.” Amway's Doug Devos NOM has recently urged boycotts of Starbucks and General Mills , who have donated significant sums of money to supporting gay “marriage,” which Rights Equal Rights gives as further reason for the boycott of Amway. But the difference, according to NOM President Brian Brown , is that “unlike our opponents, we do not target whole companies for the actions of an individual business executive in

Queensland say NO to Homosexual Unions

Logo of the Liberal National Party of Queensland (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Queensland  Parliament Last night the Government put through its minor amendments to Labor civil union law. Seeking to keep two opposing groups happy. But neither are satisfied. Whilst it will be renamed a ‘register’ and no longer recognise homosexual union ceremonies, the law still gives formal state recognition to homosexual unions. How long will this last as homosexual activist are most aggressive. Do you know that Marvel is bring our a homosexual superhero? Are you aware that Starbucks back Homosexual Marriage ? Farewell, Frappuccinos

Image
February 21, 2012 (FRCblog.com) - My home state of Washington has produced some of America ’s leading corporations and entrepreneurs: Microsoft and Bill Gates ; the Nordstrom, Boeing and Weyerhaeuser families and their eponymously named companies; the Eddie Bauer sporting goods empire; and the nearly omnipresent Starbucks (almost 11,000 stores worldwide). Starbucks emerged in the 1970s at Seattle’s Pike Place Market .  One of my sisters bought me a bag of cocoa powder from this location more than three decades ago; if I still had it, it likely would fetch a nice collector’s price. For many years, I’ve enjoyed going to Starbucks, becoming acquainted with any number of “baristas” and drinking enough of its variously flavored beverages that “grande” characterizes my waistline as much as the size of a given drink.  Even when traveling in the Middle East, the taste of a frappuccino has been a welcome reminder that one can go home again.  And I’ve always been glad to go into a place that

Homophobia and the Church

Image
Image via Wikipedia Anyone opposed to the acceptance of homosexual behavior as a healthy, normal, moral equivalent to heterosexuality is often accused of homophobia – an irrational fear of those engaged in homosexual behavior.   This same label is applied to any church that teaches biblical morality on the issue.  Recently, Bill Hybels , Pastor of Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago , had to  defend  his church’s loving and biblical morality teachings against an attack from a homosexual activist who persuaded the head of Starbucks to breach his contract to speak at the church’s leadership summit.  Some churches, like Mt. Hope Church in East Lansing, Michigan , are sometimes even physically attacked  by radical groups who support the homosexual agenda like BashBack! (an indication of irrational fear on their part). But most pastors and churches I’m familiar with are like Willow Creek and love those caught up in homosexual behavior, wanting them to experience the freedom th

Gay manipulate conference speaker

Image
Image via Wikipedia Starbucks CEO  Howard Schultz  will no longer be one of the key speakers at this week's  Willow Creek Global Leadership Summit . He will be replaced by Pat Lencioni, author of  The Five Disfunctions of a Team. Lencioni has spoken at the summit three previous times, and according to his published bio, was rated among the conference's "top 10 general sessions of all time. " Schultz, who has not previously spoken at Willow Creek's leadership summit, recently published his second book on leadership,  Onward: How Starbucks Fought for Its Life without Losing Its Soul. His appearance was the subject of an  online campaign  at Change.org, launched by political consultant Asher Huey. "Schultz is speaking at a conference hosted at and sponsored by an anti-gay church. This is unacceptable," the  petition  said. "The church has long practiced dangerous conversion therapy to 'cure' people of their sexual orientation. … Not denounc
