When a culture rebels against God

English: State seal of North Carolina (Photo credit: Wikipedia ) The legal problem with that move was that the state constitution of North Carolina requires all “public accommodation” laws to be handled at the state level. In other words, what Charlotte did was not within their authority, so the governor and the state legislature responded by passing HB 2 on March 23, which “mandates people use the bathroom corresponding to their biological sex in public buildings, places, and schools.” Simply put, everything was fine – Charlotte enacted a law they had no authority to enact, and the state of North Carolina put everything back like it was. For this simple common sense law, the state of North Carolina has become the whipping boy for the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender political machine and their many powerful supporters in big business, academia, the liberal media, and the entertainment industry. No single group of people holds more power in America today than the LGB

LGBT Puppeteer -Cultural Bully with their manufactured radicals

As you know, we secured a tremendous victory for the rights of Christians and other people of faith to be able to live out the truth of marriage without fear of being targeted or punished by the government for doing so.  When Governor Phil Bryant signed this critical religious liberty legislation (HB 1523) into law, he took a courageous step in defiance of threats from LGBT extremists and their allies in Hollywood , corporate America and big-time sports leagues. Now we must stand up for Governor Bryant to confront the cultural bullies who, right on cue, are threatening boycotts, economic punishment and reputational ruin. Because of his leadership, no pastor, church or religious group will be forced to participate in a gay ‘wedding.' No florist, baker, photographer or other professional will have to be involved in a gay ‘wedding' in violation of their religious beliefs. Religious schools, universities and social service groups can continue to maintain personnel and hous

The changing definition of ‘homophobia’

In a classic episode of “ Seinfeld ” entitled “ The Outing ,” a student reporter is convinced that Jerry and George Costanza are gay. They strenuously deny being gay, while adding “not that there's anything wrong with that.” The phrase almost immediately became part of the way Americans talk about homosexuality. The “Seinfeld” episode came to mind while reading recently about the brouhaha concerning Roy Hibbert of the NBA ’s Indiana Pacers . During a press conference, Hibbert used profanity and commented about being “stretched out” on the basketball court. And then he used the phrase “no homo.” If you’re unfamiliar with that phrase, you’re not alone. It’s an expression from rap music asserting that “the speaker of such does not have any homosexual intent.” If that sounds like Wikipedia, that’s because it is. I didn’t know what it meant, and I strongly suspect that 99 percent of the people in the room didn’t either. That didn’t stop news of Hibbert’s “gay slur” from

Using Gay Slurs

Image via Wikipedia Sports have often been used as a kind of educational tool. This is one reason people share a fanatical bond with their favorite sport.  For many, a game, season, or team remains forever branded in their memory because of the lessons learned and experiences derived from it. Sports can instruct in discipline, work ethic, teamwork, and submission to authority. Recently the NBA decided to use  an ad to take on a controversial subject matter: the bullying of homosexuals . In the ad the NBA focused particularly on the use of “gay slurs” in sports and other activities. In so doing they have made a bold value statement that Christians should take note of. The NBA ad comes in response to the rising number of news reports about professional athletes using gay slurs in a wide variety of situations.  Kobe Bryant of the LA Lakers made headlines when  he decided to use profanity and gay slurs  towards a referee after being called for a technical foul. He was punis
