Utah Standing for Marriage I was honored,  on Tuesday , to be able to join hundreds of pro-marriage supporters at the Salt Lake City Capitol Rotunda for  a wonderful rally supporting Utah's marriage amendment. The turnout was great, and I take my hat off to the organizers who did such a fantastic job pulling the event together. The development created what Utah’s attorney general called “legal limbo” for the same-sex couples who had wed in the state in recent weeks. A statement from  KSL-TV ‘s parent company, Bonneville International , cited offensive characterizations, crude dialogue and explicit content as the underlying reasons for rejecting the TV show . The show is produced and directed by openly homosexual Ryan Murphy, who also produced “The Playboy Club ,” “ American Horror Story ,” “Glee,” and “Nip/Tuck.” “After viewing the pilot episode of ‘The New Normal,’ we have made the decision to keep it off our fall schedule,”  said  Jeff Simpson, CEO of Bonneville International, according to Deseret News. “For our brand, this program simply feels inappropriate on several dimensions, especially during family viewing time.” Last year KSL-TV rejected NBC’s, “The Playboy Club,” about the original Playboy Club in Chicago in 1961.
