SAN FRANCISCO, CA , May 6, 2014 ( LifeSiteNews.com ) – A woman who claimed to be the victim of an anti-gay “ hate crime ” in 2004  has admitted  she faked the incident because she had not done her homework. Mary (no last name was given in the interview), who in 2004 caused a tumult in her California town when bigoted remarks appeared on her locker, told Buzzfeed 's Sandra Allen that she faked it all because "I hadn’t done" homework assigned at least a week earlier. "None of it. Hadn’t read anything, hadn’t done the notes. I don’t remember what the assignment was, but it was something that we had a week or two to do and I hadn’t done any of it.” “So I broke into the locker room and I graffitied my locker," she said. According to Mary, "The first or second period of the day, they called me out of the office. They said, ‘You can go home if you want to.’ I was like,  Sweet . I went home and did my homework.” Things progressed. At one point, Mary claim

BRUSSELS - In an astonshing display of gentleness in the face of a vile attack, the head of the Catholic Church in Belgium , Archbishop Andre-Joseph Leonard, remained calmly seated with eyes closed in prayer Tuesday as four topless women attacked him with shouts and curses and doused him with water.  It’s not the first time the bishop has been attacked for standing up for the Church’s teachings on homosexuality and expressing his concern for those who live the homosexual lifestyle. The incident took place at the ULB University in Brussels where the archbishop was participating in a debate on blasphemy laws. The four women, representing the pro-abortion and homosexual group FEMEN , took to the stage where they disrobed to reveal black-painted slogans on their bare chests and backs, such as ‘my body my rules,’ and 'anus dei is coming.' They also held signs reading ‘stop homophobia’. The women doused the archbishop with water from bottles formed in the image of th

Singing from the same sheet: Churchgoers sing a hymn during a meeting at St Mary 's Catholic Church to voice their support for heterosexual marriage Groups supporting and opposing the Marriage Equality bill, which would legalise same-sex marriages, gathered at separate events in Blenheim yesterday. A crowd of about 110 people attended St Mary's Catholic Church to pray in support of heterosexual marriage, while a small group of about 14 people supporting the bill gathered in Seymour Square at the same time. Near the start of the church meeting, Blenheim Assembly of God minister Dennis Humphreys prayed for wisdom to tackle the issues. Wairau Presbyterian parish minister Brendan O'Hagan said his public statements about the marriage equality bill had been a stand for marriage, not against particular people. "It's an issue that I'm standing for and against, an issue, an idea and an assumption." Marriage was ordained by God and his tru
