In Connecticut,   a young woman  watched as her dream of winning state and regional track competitions and standing on the victory podium was unfairly snatched from her when she was forced to compete against two male high school athletes who identify as female. An Australian Christian leader has been reported to the government for speaking up for marriage between one man and one woman. If same-sex marriage is legislated, he won’t be the last. Our choice as Christians will be compromise or honour Christ’s definition of marriage and be punished by an intolerant government. The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Hobart, Julian Porteous , is now the subject of an official complaint to the Tasmanian Anti-Discrimination Commission. He will now undergo a mandatory process to answer the allegation made against him. He could end up in court. If found guilty, he could be fined. His alleged crime? He promoted Catholic teaching on marriage to the parents who enrolled their children in Tasmania ’s Catholic schools. "In America, everyone has rights," said Mayor Michael Nutter at Independence Hall before the pope’s September 26 address. “Our lesbian, gay, and bisexual citizens continue to fight for equality,” he added. Nutter urged same-sex attracted persons in the audience to continue fighting, hinting that the Catholic Church under Pope Francis was aiding them in the effort. "Keep fighting for your rights," he said. "It's a collective fight. And there are many others fighting with you." Because we live in a world where those committing sexual perversion have become a protected class , certain circles of the church have rushed to accommodate them. The up and coming theory, however anti- intuitive it might be is this- God destroyed Sodom not because it was a city given over to perversion, but because it was a city that failed to exercise hospitality. God’s wrath was poured out not because the men of Sodom, pounding on Lot’s door, wanted to sexually assault the angels, but because the angels were not treated with grace and compassion.
