Court: Student can be expelled for calling gay ‘marriage’ a sin on Facebook

Image
A Christian student who was expelled from university after posting on Facebook in support of Biblical teaching on marriage and sexual ethics has lost his case in a judicial review of the university’s decision. Felix Ngole was studying for an MA in Social Work at Sheffield University . In 2015 he made comments using his personal Facebook account on the story of the American registrar Kim Davis who was imprisoned after conscientiously refusing to register same-sex marriages . Felix expressed his Christian beliefs on the issue and argued that:  "same sex marriage is a sin whether we like it or not. It is God’s words and man’s sentiments would not change His words".  He was asked where in the Bible it says that same-sex marriage is wrong, and he quoted various passages to demonstrate this. Felix Ngole and wife Sipepelo Nearly two months later, Felix received an email from a university official informing him that his Facebook comments were being investigated. He was

Alberta gov’t: ‘Unacceptable’ for Catholic schools to uphold Biblical sexuality

Image
The Alberta government says it is “unacceptable” for Catholic schools to uphold Church teaching on sexuality in school curriculum. Media in Alberta reported this week that the Council of Catholic School Superintendents of Alberta had said curriculum promoting the homosexual “lifestyle,” masturbation, anal and oral sex, or transgenderism would be problematic if required by the impending K-12 health and wellness curriculum. Alberta Premier Rachel Notley has criticized the Catholic schools and insisted their proposed program will never be taught if its final form is as it has been advertised. “Under no circumstances will we enforce or condone a sexual health curriculum that normalizes an absence of consent, refuses to talk about contraception and other things that protect the health of sexually active young people, or in any way marginalizes sexual minorities. That's not on,” she told the Canadian Press. Jason Kenney , a Catholic pro-life candidate for the United Co

Black leaders: Declining to bake a gay ‘wedding’ cake isn’t same as racism

Image
African-American leaders launched a new campaign expressing their support for Jack Phillips , the baker whose case of refusing to create a same-sex “wedding” cake has gone all the way to the Supreme Court and will be heard later this year. The leaders spoke outside the Supreme Court on Monday in support of Phillips. They also launched a website to accompany their campaign, called “ We Got Your Back, Jack .” One of Monday’s speakers was Clarence Henderson, who participated in the Woolworth lunch counter sit-ins. Another was  Janet Boynes of Janet Boynes Ministries . She was active in homosexuality for 14 years and now helps “individuals who question their sexuality or who wish to leave homosexuality,” according to her website. Alliance Defending Freedom and Liberty Counsel also participated in the pro-Phillips event, which was sponsored by the Frederick Douglass Foundation. “No person should be forced by the government to violate his or her conscience,” said Rev. Homosexual Marriage - two things cant be true at the same time

TRUTH IS REPLACED BY RIGHTS AND HURT FEELINGS The kids are okay. Shut up. That’s the message from the same-sex marriage movement . To argue for the right of children to be able to know the love and nurture, wherever possible, of their mother and father is simply bigotry, hatred and ignorance. That is what we are being told now before the law is changed. I wonder what will happen if we lose the plebiscite. Will advocating for mother and fathering of children, wherever possible, become hate speech? I’m worried about this. The same-sex marriage movement is also worried that our concern for children’s rights might lose them votes. Yesterday the Medical Journal of Australia published an article which reported on a survey of research which claims that family structure is irrelevant to the raising of a child. That it is possible for two men or two women to love a child and produce positive outcomes for that child is not in dispute. But the idea that the “no difference” case is closed is

Australia: Homosexual Marriage and the gay agenda in schools

Image
More Australian mums and dads need to  see this new ad  which reveals just how unsafe the so-called ‘Safe Schools’ program is for kids. While this ad has a MA15+ rating because of the content, this is the same material being taught to our 12-year-olds at school.  How is this “safe” for our kids to learn at school but rated too explicit to watch it at home? Let’s stand up for marriage, and for parents’ right to say “NO” to radical gay sex education in our schools. Please give today to get this message out   through TV ads and social media, and to equip your Coalition for Marriage Freedom Team volunteers.  You and I need to stay strong in this campaign to defend marriage and children … right to the finish!

No Gay Marriage TV advertisement Banned - but same content taught in Safe Schools!

Image
The latest television advertisement for the No campaign for the same-sex marriage survey has been deemed not suitable for children because of its explicit content. The advert features two women who have appeared in earlier television campaigns. As the women talk about their concerns for children being taught about homosexual intercourse and gender issues , cards come up that quote school resources linked to the controversial Safe Schools programs. The use of the words penis and vagina in context were "relevant to the classification given", Ms Longstaff said."This ad was given an MA rating because of references to sexual activities," acting CEO of Free TV Australia Pamela Longstaff said. No campaign spokesman Lyle Shelton said it was "ironic" that the ad was not deemed suitable for children. "They said the content was inappropriate for children 's viewing time," Mr Shelton said. "Now that's quite ironic from our point of vie

Transition Affirming Protocols is child abuse

Pediatric “gender clinics” are considered elite centers for affirming children who are distressed by their biological sex. This distressful condition, once dubbed gender identity disorder, was renamed “gender dysphoria” in 2013. In 2014, there were  24 of these gender clinics , clustered chiefly along the east coast and in California . One year later, there were 40 across the nation. With  215 pediatric residency programs  now training future pediatricians in a transition-affirming protocol and treating gender-dysphoric children accordingly, gender clinics are bound to proliferate further. Last summer, the federal government stated that it would not require Medicare and Medicaid to cover transition-affirming procedures for children or adults because medical experts at the Department of Health and Human Services found the risks were often too high, and the benefits too unclear. Undeterred by these findings, the World Professional Association for Transgender Health has pressed ahea

Up to 50 children a week - some as young as four - are being referred to gender reassignment specialists

Image
Children aged 11 or older can be treated with powerful hormones to prevent puberty and give them time to decide. As many as 50 children a week are being referred to gender reassignment doctors in the UK , including children as young as four, a new report reveals. But transgender ideology is not just infecting our laws. It is intruding into the lives of the most innocent among us—children—and with the apparent growing support of the professional medical community . As explained in my 2016 peer reviewed article, “ Gender Dysphoria in Children and Suppression of Debate ,” professionals who dare to question the unscientific party line of supporting gender transition therapy will find themselves maligned and out of a job. Figures show that a record number of children now believe there were born in the wrong body . Some experts attribute the rise in the number of children being referred to is the growing acceptance of gender issues . Children ages 11 and over can be treated with
