Perhaps the greatest harm inflicted by the promoters of transgenderism is on children who show signs of gender dysphoria. Pastor Jeremy Schossau of Metro City Church in Riverview, Michigan , is facing explosive backlash after offering classes to teens struggling with same-sex attraction and seeking help. In a now-deleted Facebook post, the church offered a workshop called, "Unashamed Identity" for girls 12-16 who are struggling with thoughts of being trans, bi, gay or other. People now are speaking up after being silenced by the vocal violent LGBT community. A pastor of a Detroit -area church along with his family have received death threats, arson threats, and bomb threats from LGBT advocates after advertising a Bible-based workshop for teenage girls struggling with their sexual identity. “A whole bunch of people have come up with this idea that we are offering some sort of conversion-therapy workshop,” Metro City Church Pastor Jeremy Schossau explained on a Feb. 5 YouTube video about the backlash to his church's program titled “ Unashamed Identity .” “As a result of that, we’ve had an unbelievable backlash on social media filled with hate and vulgarity,” Schossau continued. “People have literally threatened to kill me and my family, to burn our house down, to burn our Church down, to assault the people of our Church and our staff,” he said. LGBT forces have pulled out the heavy artillery to force a small Mississippi town to change its mind about denying a permit for a ‘gay pride’ parade. South Carolina legislators have proposed a bill that calls homosexual “marriage” a “parody” of “natural” marriage between a man and a woman.  The “ Marriage and Constitution Restoration Act ” (H. 4949) introduced earlier this month clarifies that marriage is between one man and one woman, and defines same-sex arrangements, whether legally solemnized or not, “parody marriage.” “‘Marriage’ means a union of one man and one woman,” the Act reads. “‘Parody marriage’ means any form of marriage that does not involve one man and one woman.” The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “parody” as “a feeble or ridiculous imitation.” Six Republicans sponsored the Act, which uses Constitutional arguments to “prohibit the state from respecting, endorsing, or recognizing any parody marriage policy.” The preamble of the proposed amendment to South Carolina’s Constitution states that it is scientifically “unsettled” if homosexuality is “immutable or genetic,” and therefore sexual orienta

Alberta ’s teachers’ union has come under fire from parents for hosting a keynote address by an LGBT activist who frequently posts sexually explicit material on social media. The Alberta Teachers’ Association defended its decision to host pro-LGBT activist Dr. Kristopher Wells for an address on February 22 to the Palliser District Teachers’ Convention. Wells is the Faculty Director for the University of Alberta’s Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services, and his  university bio  credits him for creating a variety of initiatives for gay students, as well as advisory roles with the Canadian Senate, Canadian Teachers' Federation , Alberta Teachers' Association, Public Health Agency of Canada , and various local governments, through which he holds considerable influence in shaping LGBT-related policies. The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) has threatened to cut ties with the D.C. Baptist Convention (DCBC) if it doesn't “secure removal” of a church pastored by "married" lesbians in 90 days.  The SBC's Executive Committee  voted  during Feb. 19-20 meetings in Nashville, Tenn to require the DCBC to officially break "fellowship" with Calvary Baptist Church , which last year hired two "married" lesbians, Sally Sarratt and Maria Swearingen, as co-pastors.  The D.C. church's vote to hire the lesbians was unanimous.
