Seattle’s homosexual mayor Ed Murray is stepping down after a fifth man, Joseph Dyer , accused his older cousin Murray of having sexually molested him when Dyer was a boy. Murray’s resignation takes effect today (Wednesday) at 5 p.m., The Seattle Times reported. Murray had already been accused by four men of molesting them when they were boys. That list includes his former foster son, Jeff Simpson . In May, Murray, a former state legislator, dropped his bid for re-election as the homosexual sex-predator scandal deepened. Then, in July, a 1984 document from Oregon Child Protective Services (CPS) mysteriously resurfaced that backed up Simpson’s current claims against Murray. The document shows that Simpson was a young teenager when the alleged sexual abuse began. The National Football League is depicting same-sex activity as “love” and actively promoting homosexuality with an  ad  filmed last month at the Pro Bowl. At the NFL’s annual all-star game the week before the Super Bowl , a " Kiss Cam " scoured the crowd at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. , to film kisses or hugs between lovers or friends. Using "Kiss Cam" footage of two homosexual men kissing and two lesbians kissing, the NFL and the Ad Council — using tax dollars — has produced an ad campaign entitled "Love has no labels." There is no warning at the beginning of the ad telling parents that children or offended adults will be exposed to a video that may be disturbing or contrary to their values. According to the Ad Council, the video featured people “across different races, religions,  genders, sexualities , abilities and ages.” After showing the homosexuals kiss, the ad concludes, "Love is about who you are, not what you are.

Editors of the   New Atlantis , a scholarly journal "devoted to science and technology issues and their relation to social and political affairs," are defending two authors against an onslaught of gay accusations. A review of research studies and scientific literature on homosexuality summarized by Dr. Lawrence S. Mayer and Dr. Paul R. McHugh , entitled   “ Sexuality and Gender: Findings from the Biological, Psychological, and Social Sciences ,”   has come under vehement condemnation by the pro-homosexual advocacy group, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). Southern Baptists voted to officially defend marriage, religious freedom and natural gender at their annual meeting this week, making strong statements against controversial measures over the last year that pose a threat to each. They do not want to actually debate the merits of the issues so they declare anything they oppose to be "discrimination" and "anti-gay" and attempt to demonize all those who oppose their agenda. Governor Bryant in Mississippi is standing strong and now it's our turn to stand with him . If it wasn’t for double standards, some liberals would have none at all. That seems to be the lesson from the past few weeks, where liberals have displayed three distinct forms of hypocrisy. Liberal governors and mayors signed travel bans to North Carolina and Mississippi , CEOs of major corporations pledged boycotts and relocations, and Bruce Springsteen and Bryan Adams have canceled scheduled concerts in those states. At issue are  a Mississippi  law that narrowly and carefully protects the rights of religious charities, small businesses, and select public servants and  a North Carolina  law that reasonably protects privacy and safety in public restrooms, while leaving private institutions free to set their own bathroom policies. These laws, apparently, are now unacceptable to some voices on the left. But are they really? USA High schools (and many middle schools ) across the country will be hosting the LGBT movement ’s annual “ Day of Silence .” During this all-day event, student activists and even school officials encourage students to be silent for the entire day as a sign of solidarity with the international LGBT movement. Students are encouraged to wear special pro-homosexual badges, stickers, and bracelets -- which are often handed out at the school entrances that day. There are also pro- LGBT posters in the hallways, handouts, and even workshops. Getting young people to identify emotionally with the overall LGBT movement (going beyond just the “sexual orientation” issue) is very important to the national activists.
