TORONTO, February 26, 2014  – An editor at Canada ’s leading homosexual news agency has defended nudity at Toronto ’s annual Pride parade, which is billed as a “family friendly” event. TORONTO, February 19, 2014  – Toronto Mayor Rob Ford reiterated his opposition to flying a rainbow flag at city hall during the Sochi Olympics in a segment Tuesday for his Ford Nation  show on YouTube .  Ford had demanded the flag be removed February 7, but appeared to relent at the time. In his video Tuesday, Ford said he was responding to an email from a woman asking if he wants to be re-elected and if so why he does not "support all citizens." Toronto Pride is seeking a $128,000 cultural grant from the city, in addition to about $250,000 of in-kind services such as police and garbage removal.  Though billed as “family-friendly,” the annual event has often been labeled a “sex parade,” as it regularly features people walking down the streets semi-nude or completely naked, and homosexuals engaging in public sex acts.
