Buttigieg’s brother-in-law assails Dem for ‘dishonesty,’ acting ‘clearly against Scripture’

Image
Pete Buttigieg (right) with his 'husband' Chasten The brother-in-law of Democrat presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg isn’t pulling any punches in response to the former South Bend, Indiana mayor’s recent comments questioning the religiosity of Americans who support President Donald Trump, calling Buttigieg’s remarks the “height of intellectual dishonesty.” Earlier this week, Buttigieg said at a presidential town hall event that he  “cannot find any compatibility between the way this president conducts himself and anything I find in Scripture.” The candidate has made his allegedly-superior religiosity a recurring theme in his campaign, despite his well-known deviations from Christian teaching, including his “marriage” to another man and his support for effectively-unlimited legal abortion.  Michigan pastor Rhyan Glezman, the brother of Buttigieg’s “husband” Chasten,  appeared  on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show Wednesday evening to respond. "Yeah, in the hei

Thankless

It’s that time of year when being grateful rises to the top of our priority list — for most of us, that is. Sadly, some people are simply ungrateful, and proudly so. When we see the deep division in our culture, the mob mentality consuming many people, an absence of gratitude — to other humans and, more importantly, to God — appears to be a huge stumbling block. Actually, ingratitude forms a core ingredient of the “LGBT” community, the pro-abortion movement, and the left in general. It contrasts sharply with the path along which we are led as Christians. Where does the unrepentant heart go if we allow it? In Scripture, we know that human hearts are “deceitful and desperately wicked” (Jeremiah 17:9). But when we let the Lord into our lives, radical and positive transformation takes place. Among homosexuals and the gender-rebellious, parents and genetic heritage are often held in contempt. Heterosexuals are nicknamed “breeders” among these enlightened sexual rebels. It doesn’t en

Equality Act will force people into homosexuality, then destroy free speech

As a teenager, Nate Oyloe was attracted to other boys. Hoping to change his sexual attractions, he sought therapy. Today, he is happily married to a woman. Most people would be glad that Nate has achieved the life he wanted. But not everyone is. Lawmakers in his home state of Minnesota recently passed a law banning the kind of therapy Nate received to help him overcome his unwanted same-sex attraction. To date, twenty states and many cities have made it illegal to offer therapy for minors unless it affirms the LGBT agenda — and several more are considering similar bans. In these jurisdictions, therapists may help a child or teen accept same-sex attraction or different gender identity, but they will not help a teen who aspires to change his same-sex attraction or sexual identity. It is illegal even to ask questions to help a child explore underlying issues related to sexual orientation or gender identity. And if the federal Equality Act is enacted, it will be illegal across all

Joe Biden is no ‘moderate Democrat.’ He’s an LGBT extremist

Image
Joe Biden is not a "middle of the road" Democrat — if there is such a thing in the party of proud infanticide laws, anti-Semitic smears, and approved invasion of our southern border. Only short memories would occupy the "Joe Biden is a moderate" camp. History does not support that view, at least not about Joe's alliance with harmful "LGBTQ" behaviors and lifestyles — even when children are being targeted and endangered. Joe Biden  officiated  at the "marriage" of two male White House staffers in 2016. He  publicly expressed support  for faux nuptials in 2012, even before Obama did. And when it comes to faithful Christian Americans, handsy Joe told a cheering homosexual audience last fall that we believers use religion as a "license to discriminate." It's on tape from September 2018 ( listen to his bigoted rant here  beginning at around 20:12). He referred to those who support President Trump's policies as the &qu

Why it’s absurd for gay pro-abortion Pete Buttigieg to question Trump’s faith

Image
If ever there was a glaring instance of the pot calling the kettle black it was when South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, a professing Christian and practicing homosexual, called President Trump a hypocritical Christian. Seriously? To be clear, I have no problem with someone questioning whether President Trump is a true Christian. An evangelical friend of mine who has met with Trump on several occasions recently told me that he does not believe the president has had a true conversion experience but that he does truly fear God. Other friends have told me they believe that Trump loves Jesus but is a mere babe when it comes to the Christian faith. Ultimately, only God knows the state of Donald Trump's soul. But I fully understand why people question his Christian faith, based on his past life (before becoming president) and his current behavior (as president). One thing, though, is sure: Donald Trump does not claim to be a model Christian, nor should we look to him for an exam

Florida school investigates teacher who read book about homosexual rabbits to kids

Image
A teacher in Florida is being questioned by school authorities for reading a gay-affirming book to elementary-school students. A so-far unnamed teacher read “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver presents A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo”  without previously informing school authorities  or parents, according to local TV reports. It is a parody presented by British comedian John Oliver that depicts a homosexual rabbit who lives at the White House and seeks to be united with another male rabbit. Church petitions British Columbia’s top court to overturn city’s ban on youth conference

Image
A Christian church in British Columbia has petitioned the province's top court to reverse a city's 2018 decision to cancel the church's booking of a city-owned center for a youth conference after the city took issue with one of the event's Christian speakers. Grace Chapel is a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, located in downtown New Westminster. Part of Grace Chapel’s vision is to “build a multi-ethnic, diverse church where people of every nation in our community will worship God…” Grace Chapel does not have a church building of its own. Church events are held in rented spaces, including the municipally-owned and managed Anvil Centre. As explained in a recently filed affidavit , on May 25, the City of New Westminster signed a contract with Grace Chapel to rent a portion of the Anvil Centre. The rental was for a youth conference to be held on July 21, 2018. On June 21, 2018, a media article was published which included a picture of a poster for the confer

Peter Kreeft on the simultaneous rise of homosexuality and Islam

Image
Why the simultaneous rise of homosexuality and Islam?  An interview with Peter Kreeft In a recent interview, Boston College professor Peter Kreeft noted key similarities in the homosexual activist movement and radical Islam which have led to their ascendancy in recent times.  Asked about the simultaneous rise of militant Islam and the homosexual activist movement despite their opposing ideologies, Kreeft replied:   “They’re the only two movements in Western civilization that will fight and die for their beliefs.  It is an amazing paradox that they’re opposites in almost every way, and yet they’re similar in that they will still fight. Christians are supposed to fight too, the notion of spiritual warfare, the true meaning of jihad – a war against sin rather than flesh and blood. This is central to Christianity and we’ve lost it, and therefore opposite forces are entering the vacuum.” Kreeft explained that as the Christian faith has weakened in the West, it has caused a v

New CA Bill Outlaws Helping Anyone with Unwanted Same-Sex Desires or Gender Confusion

Image
The chair of the California LGBT Caucus recently introduced a bill to outlaw Christians and others with a Biblical view of sexuality from helping people with unwanted same-sex desires or gender identity confusion. Assemblyman Evan Low’s bill, AB 2943 , declares “advertising, offering to engage in, or engaging in sexual orientation change efforts with an individual” as illegal under state’s consumer fraud law. The implications of this legislation spread far beyond regulating the type of counselling offered by licensed counsellors, who are already banned from helping minors with unwanted same-sex attractions . Several legal experts have confirmed that this bill targets the ability of religious non-profits, churches, and pastors from teaching and practising their faith regarding sexual orientation and gender. “The language used in this bill casts a wide net calculated to entangle religious institutions and ministers,” said Kevin Snider, Chief Counsel Pacific Justice Institute . “

The Future of Social Conservatives Is on the Line in North Carolina

Image
Religious liberty hangs in the balance in Governor Pat McCrory’s bid for reelection. The future of religious liberty for traditional religious believers hangs on what happens to North Carolina governor Pat McCrory’s bid for re-election this November, and he is down six points in the latest CNN poll.  The Atlanta Constitution Journal just acknowledged as much in a story on the decision to hold more public debates on the need for laws to protect the conscience rights of gay-marriage dissenters in Georgia (where Republican governor Nathan Deal vetoed such legislation in 2015): The re-introduction of ‘religious liberty’ legislation may be a given, but its prospects could largely depend on what happens in North Carolina on Election Day. Shortly before Deal’s veto, Gov.  P at McCrory of North Carolina signed into law a measure that barred transgender individuals from using public restrooms associated with their present identity rather than their birth gender. McCrory is now locke
