(Photo credit: Wikipedia ) Catholic marriage and family counseling agencies in Ireland are being told they must accept LGBT -identifying clients, otherwise they risk losing government funding.  “The government is threatening to withdraw millions of euros of public funding ,” reports UK ’s  The Times , “unless the counselling services agree to change their longstanding policy of excluding same-sex couples from their services on religious grounds.” The counseling service administered by the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference ( ICBC ) received about €1.5 million during 2016, one-quarter of the total €6 million Department of Children and Youth Affairs budget for such services.   The ICBC counseling group Accord may have to shutter its doors because government funding may dry up if it follows Catholic teaching and refuses to accept the validity of LGBT relationships.  The Catholi

South Dakota Gov.  Dennis Daugaard signed a law last week preventing faith-based adoption agencies from facing government discrimination for not placing children with same-sex couples. The law is  Senate Bill 149 , sponsored by Senator Alan Solano, R-District 32, and Representative Steven Haugaard, R-District 10.  "No child-placement agency may be required to provide any service that conflicts with, or provide any service under circumstances that conflict with any sincerely-held religious belief or moral conviction of the child-placement agency," it states. The recent concern over Disney 's  Beauty and the Beast  'gay moment' may lead some to believe that Disney has just launched on a new campaign to promote homosexuality, but the company has been at it for many years already.  They've come out of the closet with their propaganda efforts lately as can be seen by their recent threat  to pull filming in Georgia  if the state backed a religious freedom bill.  But even in 1998, former Disney CEO Michael Eisner told a homosexual leader that a whopping 40 percent of the entertainment corporation’s employees were "gay," according to a prominent LGBT activist caught on tape relaying the private conversation at a homosexual student event. The revelation came from then-HRC Executive Director Elizabeth Birch , who keynoted an LGBT student conference at the University of California, Santa Cruz . Our culture is inundated—in print and on screen—with the idea that homosexuality is a normal, proper, and healthy expression of “love” between persons. This view has successfully infiltrated our TV sitcoms, magazines, bookstores, and coffee shops, but now we are being told that homosexuality—in either orientation or act—is something approved by God and therefore consistent with biblical morality. The National Survey of Family Growth concludes that while more and more Americans support homosexual "marriage," they simultaneously support marriage less and less. The U.S. Health and Human Services survey, using data from 2011 to 2013, revealed increasing apathy toward marriage in general and a disconnect from the positive role marriage should play in families and individuals. Sixty percent of women ages 15-44 say sodomy is "all right" (up from 42 percent in 2002).
