The U.S. has become a totalitarian Sodom: one man’s escape from homosexuality

Image
The dawn of 2018 marks twenty years since a life-changing event that changed me from obnoxiously pro-gay to staunchly pro-chastity. To draw from an overused allegory, I would like to say I fled Sodom twenty years ago. You see, on January 2, 1998, I was rushed into surgery in a Bronx hospital, about a mile from the apartment I lived in. I had a cancerous tumor that was severely malignant. Rushed into emergency operative care, I experienced a level of pain greater than anything I had ever felt prior. The vicious nurses, whose faces I will never forget, hounded me until I agreed to be discharged. They threatened to prevent my father from seeing me if I did not leave the ambulatory recovery hall and go home. I do not know why they were so determined not to admit me to the hospital for recovery, but I left. It was exceedingly cold that night and my apartment was a fifth-floor walk-up I barely reached. I was twenty-seven years old. Up until that time in my life, I had never had a

Taxpayer-funded ad shows homosexual couples kissing at NFL Pro Bowl

The National Football League is depicting same-sex activity as “love” and actively promoting homosexuality with an  ad  filmed last month at the Pro Bowl. At the NFL’s annual all-star game the week before the Super Bowl , a " Kiss Cam " scoured the crowd at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. , to film kisses or hugs between lovers or friends. Using "Kiss Cam" footage of two homosexual men kissing and two lesbians kissing, the NFL and the Ad Council — using tax dollars — has produced an ad campaign entitled "Love has no labels." There is no warning at the beginning of the ad telling parents that children or offended adults will be exposed to a video that may be disturbing or contrary to their values. According to the Ad Council, the video featured people “across different races, religions,  genders, sexualities , abilities and ages.” After showing the homosexuals kiss, the ad concludes, "Love is about who you are, not what you are.

Pro-LGBT New York councilman blasts private Catholic school after student’s suicide

A member of the New York City Council is inserting himself into a tragic situation outside of his constituency while also intruding in the oversight of a religious institution. Councilman Daniel Dromm called for Michael Long, chairman of the board for Holy Angels Catholic Academy in Brooklyn and also chairman of the New York State Conservative Party (NYSCP), to step down from the school board after a student there recently committed suicide, the reported result of bullying. The Democratic councilman issued a press release accusing Long of negligence and responsibility in the child’s death because of Long’s opposition to anti-bullying measures. He also said Long was not fit to serve on any school board because of hostility toward LGBT individuals. "Michael Long has been negligent in his duty to protect (the student) from bullying and, in fact, holds some responsibility for his death because of his longstanding, staunch opposition to anti-bullying education," Dromm

Lithuanian intellectuals issue manifesto comparing gay pride with Soviet, Nazi tactics

Image
In a strong manifesto, a coalition of Lithuanian religious and intellectual leaders, including heroes of the anti-communist resistance, condemned the 2016 Baltic Pride Parade as an attack on human nature and the public good that follows in the path of the Soviet Union’s assault on the traditional family. Audrius Makauskas, a spokesman for a group named Vilnius Forum, told LifeSiteNews that Lithuanian intellectuals were not going to cave in to homosexual threats like their Western counterparts. “We are a country that had experienced and still remembers the Soviet experiment. We rejected the norms of the new Communist morality that were imposed by those who claimed to be leading us into a bright future. The more brutally these so-called progressive norms were being thrust upon us, the more vehemently we opposed them. So it shall be this time as well,” Makauskas promised. The group's statement assertd the LGBT campaign goes well beyond equal rights for its members but is “the conti
